Good things: •Fragrant and very peaceful surroundings – apartments are situated in a pine wood. •Apartment for two is adequate. Bathroom is spacious and nice. There was always enough hot water and the water pressure was fine (sometimes it can be a problem on islands). •Every three days we got a lot of clean bathroom and kitchen towels and garbage was taken out. •We usually went to the two beaches below the apartment complex. Swimming shoes are a must since it is almost impossible to get in and out of the sea without them. Beaches are pebbled, but pebbles are rather big and not rounded. If you don’t have swimming shoes or, like us, forget to take them, you can easily and cheaply buy them in the village. •Beaches are in the shade in the afternoon in this time of the year (late August). It means that you can comfortably enjoy the beach without sun umbrella from 4 p.m. There was always a little bit of refreshing wind that made the heat bearable. •It is nice to swim along the small bay and water was very clean. If you like swimming in the deep, like us, you will be in luck. •There are two supermarkets, a post office, farmer’s market, fish market, newspaper kiosk and 2 beach ware kiosks in the center of the village Kukljica. They are only 15 minutes on foot from Zelena punta. Everything was open until 9 p.m. •Kukljica has a long fishing tradition, so we bought fresh blue and white fish at the fish market. •Excellent wifi, even on the beach! Not so good things: •More than 100 very steep steps from the apartment to the beach. •Park where you find a parking spot. •Small and stuffy terrace. A miniature table hardly accommodate 2 plates. •2 almost useless refrigerators in the apartment. Handles on one were knocked out so we had to reach underneath the door to open it. •No door on the freezer part of the refrigerator, so storing deep freeze items or making ice was impossible. •Kitchenware seemed haphazardly collected. •The sink leaked. •When the room key card is taken out of the slot, electricity shuts down and refrigerators as well. •Only 2 beach showers and 1 changing cabana. General impression: •The complex is poorly maintained. A lot of small things don’t work. •The reception is from the 70s, stuffy and shabby. •Staff is friendly, but still they tried to double charge us! Their data was not up to date!
