What I say ! We had the most lovely week at Louis imperial in pathos. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The staff are attentive hard working nothing is too much trouble for them. A special shout out to Alina in reception - she’s a delightful lady & deals with any issues with efficency and speed ! So Thankyou Alina. Also a big shoutout to Yosef Savi & David (pool bar reception bar & theatre ) for waiting on us tirelessly with a smile and speed from start to finish! You deserve a medal so Thankyou chaps very much for your Exellent service. Infact the whole week was beautiful. The food is Exellent with a vast choice daily in the main restuarant. The burger bar also lovely, the same goes for the Japanese with the same staff in both on alternate nights, who are efficent and work hard. We had a lovely time and are looking at booking again for October half term. We came with our 12 year old grandson who enjoyed himself - the entertainment staff in the teenage center where Exellent too! So a big thanks to all.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the staff and service were fantastic—everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Bianca, who was amazing with our baby and quickly became one of his favourite people at the resort. The resort itself is lovely, with plenty of sunbeds available at all times, which made relaxing by the pool stress-free. The entertainment team and kids’ club were outstanding, with a special mention to Kyra, who was fantastic. Yousef at the bar was an absolute star and always made us feel welcome. Travelling with our 18-month-old was made so much easier thanks to the kindness of both the staff and fellow guests. A particular thank you to chefs George and Yanis, who went above and beyond when we struggled to find suitable food for our baby. They were happy to prepare whatever we needed, which we really appreciated and which made a huge difference to our holiday. A few areas could be improved. We were told pool towels would be replenished in our room daily, but this only happened twice during our six-day stay. When we asked, we were often told they were in the laundry. A poolside towel service would be a great addition and help avoid this issue. The rooms were also quite small compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in, particularly for a family with a young child. In addition, the walls and doors are very thin, meaning noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors was often quite noticeable. We also felt there could have been more vegetarian options available across the restaurants. As someone who is vegetarian and allergic to mushrooms, the choices felt particularly limited at times. The chefs did kindly offer to make alternative dishes on request, which was appreciated, but as they were already going out of their way to prepare food for our baby, we felt awkward asking for additional special requests. Overall, though, this is a fantastic family-friendly resort with exceptional staff who genuinely care about their guests. The team made our holiday special, and the level of service is what truly sets this resort apart.

While we had an overall pleasant stay, I don't believe this hotel truly meets the standards of a 5-star luxury property. At best, I would rate it as a strong 4-star hotel, despite being marketed as a luxury 5-star destination. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was enjoyable and satisfying, and the rooms were clean and maintained, but the whole experience just lacked the luxury touch.

Booked for a family holiday for my daughter’s 30th Birthday and was very disappointed as we were expecting a much higher standard considering the price and the fact it has re branded itself to be a 5 star resort which it is something it’s not! Booked for a family holiday for my daughter’s 30th Birthday and was very disappointed as we were expecting a much higher standard considering the price and the fact it has re branded itself to be a 5 star resort which it is something it’s not! We have stayed here before the refurb and to be honest apart from new furniture and a lick of paint the hotel it is never a 5 star having stayed in other Cypriot 5 star hotels. We were allocated rooms at the back of the hotel overlooking a derelict building which was very depressing and there was always men hanging around this area looking over at the hotel which was unsettling . The car parking area at the entrance to the hotel is in need of upgrading and gives off a very poor image of the hotel when you arrive . The corridors have been given a lick of paint and new flooring which is very clinical and looks like a hospital corridor. Some art work would be nice and a contrast colour to the white floor would be more inviting . Although the bedroom doors have been replaced the corridors are full of old fire doors and cupboard doors making the place feel a bit run down. The rooms are functional and the sound proofing is very poor. The air conditioning was also very poor and never dropped below 25 degrees for both rooms. The downstairs floor area beside the restaurant is chipped and all needs replaced and the outside floor areas have been painted over which is either looking dirty already or the paint in lifting. The seats in the outside dining area are white and are already filthy , not a good colour for a family hotel. The sun beds are nice and there are plenty of them which was great . The food was mediocre and is not as good as before . The service for drinks at meal times was chaotic and most days we never received a drink without having to go and ask at the bar. Again not a 5 star experience . Bottled water was not delivered to the rooms on 3 occasions and reception were reluctant to provide this which was stressful for my daughter as she has a baby requiring formula feed. Bottled water should be made available at the bar as in every other hotel we have stayed in especially as it is marketed as a family resort . The bar area upstairs is unchanged apart from new seating . It lacks character and has no atmosphere. It would be good to have a nice decorated lounge bar to have drinks in as this area feels like part of the lobby. The entertainment was non existant most nights in the bar and we resorted to sitting outside listening to music from the hotel next door. The entertainment team were ok but again definitely not up to a 5 star hotel standard. The round the world show was excellent however. The staff were all lovely especially yousaf who was always polite and cheery . A special thanks to the cleaners who always kept our rooms immaculate and gave us clean beach towels every day . Although we did have a nice holiday we were very disappointed as we thought we were booking a Cypriot 5 star experience given the promotions all over social media and to be honest there are better 4 star hotels in Paphos.
