Just back from another wonderful stay at this amazing hotel. We loved the recent upgrades throughout the hotel, and the food in all restaurants are still excellent. All staff are so friendly, polite and efficient, a credit to this hotel. A special shout out to Ion the bar waiter, who frequently served us. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again. Thanks to everyone for making our holiday GREAT.

“Not quite 5 star.”

This hotel has been recently renovated and is beautiful. The bedrooms are very nice with remotely controlled lights, blinds and curtains. This hotel has been recently renovated and is beautiful. The bedrooms are very nice with remotely controlled lights, blinds and curtains. These controls weren't explained to us on arrival and they often get confused regularly leaving us in the dark until they reset. The drains can be a little smelly occasionally. Rooms are regularly cleaned and the mini bar refilled. The minibar contains bottled drinks but no bottle opener, luckily I always have my waiters friend at hand. Cleaners occasionally forget little things like refilling toilet rolls or replacing face clothes, coffee etc, but this is probably due to their workload. A phone call to reception easily fixed these issues. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful although there are the odd ones that don't seem to smile. Mitko in the American diner is a star always smiling and happy in his work. Maxim in the You and Me bar is a very nice and friendly and makes a great p s martini. My wife had a card, balloon and a lovely cske sent to the room to celebrate her birthday which was a nice touch. Pool area is great bars are very good although table service can be a little slow when busy. Entertainment is good specifically Queen and Bon Jovi tributes. We almost missed Bon Jovi as we were led to believe it was Mama Mia show, although we were told it was a mamma Mia show on more than one occasion, reception don't always seem to know what's on, even the greeters on the arena door admitted to not really knowing what the shows are going to be. We didn't get to try any a la carte restaurants as the menus weren't appealing to us. The American Diner is very good, although you can only eat so many burgers in a week. The main buffet for me is the main reason I've only given this hotel 4 stars, the food is mediocre and mostly cold. I've tried at breakfast time to have a cooked breakfast only to find cold to luke warm sausages, bacon, eggs and beans. Very disappointed. Tonight it was Indian themed, not much choice otherwise if you're not already sick of pizza or salad. The only thing slightly warm on my plate was a piece of semi warm chicken. Rice was cold, onion bahjis put fresh out were barely warm. We've been to the buffet early, in the middle and towards the end of service only to find it the same. I mentioned on my first visit to the buffet that breakfast items were cold, to be told that it would be reported, like other reviewers have, only for nothing to change. All in all this is a very nice hotel with excellent staff and services but the but if you want hot food and plenty of variety it may not be the place to come.

We recently stayed at the Olympic Lagoon Palace and overall had a lovely experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — modern, stylish and very well maintained. Cleanliness throughout was excellent, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The staff really stood out; they were consistently friendly, attentive and always willing to help, which made a big difference to our stay. One feature we particularly appreciated was the sunbed allocation system — having your own designated sunbed for the duration of your stay is a fantastic idea and removes the usual early morning rush. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. The food was good in quality, but we did find it became a bit repetitive over time, especially for a longer stay. As the hotel has recently been renovated, there were also a few teething issues with some of the new technology, although it was clear that staff were actively working to resolve these. In terms of entertainment, this felt like the main area lacking. There could be more in the way of dance facilities and a stronger offering for families, particularly a dedicated family entertainment space. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with excellent service and a very relaxing atmosphere. With a few improvements to variety in dining and entertainment, it could easily become outstanding.
