We’ve been to L’Ocean Breton twice, and it was outstanding each time. The first time we stayed in the Clos de Chateau area in a two pod premium cottage with spa. There is ample parking and the site is simple to navigate. Spa duo Premium is our pick! The staff are a real highlight at L’Ocean Breton. My French isn’t great but the team went out of their way to make me, my wife and our children feel welcome - speaking impeccable English which inspired me to learn French enough for our second trip so I didn’t feel so embarrassed. What really impressed me about the site was that there wasn’t enough the team could do to help. Both times we brought my wife’s parents with us who are limited mobility, and the L’Ocean Breton team ensured we had an appropriate location and pointed out ways to make my in-laws stay more comfortable. The site has so much to do, and there was clearly investment even between 2022 and 2023 in even more activities. Over two years we’ve spent a total of 28 days at L’Ocean Breton and I have to say they were some of the happiest of my life. Nothing beats chilling out on a hazy August evening in the hot tub with a glass of wine, staring at the night sky. There are no faults at all, with a great supermarket in walking distance (if you’re feeling energetic) or a 5 minute drive. Big shout out to the goats and sheep on the nature trail who spent time talking to me on my morning walks 😀😀!

“Great facilities for kids and adults!”

A great site! Lots to do for the kids: an amazing pool with 4 different types of waterslide, kids club, 2 playgrounds, mini disco etc. The facilities were excellent. We stayed in a premier chalet, which was compact but had clever storage squeezed in each room so was still comfortable. We had a generous outdoor decking area that we could use for dining and extra storage. We were lucky enough to have a hot tub but we were so busy using the other facilities that we hardly used it. For the adults there are good facilities and activities too. I went Paddleboarding one day which was good. Don’t bother with the ‘spa’ though - it is just a tiny room and vastly overpriced for a very mediocre massage. We would definitely stay in a Yelloh! Campsite again.

“Great campsite for families with younger kids and teenagers.”

We returned from this campsite refreshed. It was a good balance of relaxation and fun. The pool was amazing and the younger and older teenager had fun on the slides. The pool was clean and well kept. Lots of sun beds to choose from and never felt overcrowded. It has two indoor pools which we used on the couple of overcast days we had while we stayed. The bar area and restaurant were well laid out and a couple of nights we stayed for the entertainment. The staff clearly put a lot of effort into their performance and it was enjoyable. They did a mojito night which was great as they were only 6.50E. They really got everyone involved for dancing and it was a great atmosphere. The food from take away and restaurant was limited but well delivered. We had pizzas and burgers all enjoyed our food so no complaints there. For some reason the veggie burger was not on the restaurant menu so as vegetarian I had only veg or margarita pizza to choose from but I was happy with that. Also supermarket literally around the corner so if you want to go to that instead of using restaurant or on site shop it was five mins in car if that. On site shop was limited but had essentials like bread and pastries for breakfast. Accommodation was clean and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Think we stayed cottage double premium with spa. It was so worth it. Just so you can relax just with family. Lots of attractions locally and places to go. Beaches near by like Loctudy and Penmarch. Also, Concarneau not far away and we also visited a local attraction were you could stroke the animals as they wandered about. I reviewed this also, as was great for smaller and older kids as also had climbing area with sky trampolines. Great holiday in beautiful rural France I didn’t want to come home. If you love France like we do, you will like it here.

We stayed in L'Ocean Breton in July 2024 for 12 nights and we had a great time, despite the weather. Unfortunately, the weather was not great the first week as there was quite alot of rain and it was cold. The rental unit was very nice and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, esp the staff in the kids club. The swimming facilities were really good, esp all the slides which the children really enjoyed. I used the gym which was very basic and not very user friendly, but it was a nice facility to have if you wanted to use it. We ate out in the restaurant twice and the food was lovely. The mini-market is very small and basic, however there is a really good supermarket only about 5 mins away in the car. The campsite itself was really nice - my children especially enjoyed the farm which was really good. My only complaint was on our last day, we stayed on the campsite and we didn't realise that there was no food served after 2pm (our own fault), however we were advised that we could get food after 4pm so we waited around specifically for this and when the time came, they were only taking orders at that time and we'd have to wait until 6 for the food, so we had to leave because of our ferry time. I was absolutely furious for the misinformation, as we would have left the campsite sooner to go elsewhere for food before the trek to the ferry plus I felt they didn't really care - it was very stressful as the kids were starving. In general, I would definitely recommend this campsite and I notice that it has more to offer than other Yelloh Village campsites we're looking at for July 2025, but what would put me off is the weather, as it was depressing the first week (that's not Yelloh Village's fault of course!!), so this year we're going further afield, but will be sticking with Yelloh Village, as they do provide very good customer service and the staff were really nice.
