Firstly I would like to say I hired a car which I collected from the airport, this was a good move as Corsica is bigger than you think. We had a bit of a job finding the letting as we didn't bring our Satnav. We arrived about 11am in Corsica so we hung about as the letting commenced at 5pm. We should have found the accommodation first and done some food shopping first. I was surprised as we had booked an apartment for 6 and I thought as a family of four we were in a one room apartment but was pleasantly surprised to find it was two bed roomed. At first we found it difficult to find everything but everything was there. Had a coffee machine but no kettle. They sell coffee bags at the supermarket, a good idea as the coffee machine was a fag to clean. Having a car meant we could go to the beach in the morning and go sight seeing in the afternoon, and what wonderful sights, we drove around in the Mountains, wonderful. We used a beach just across the main road, lovely almost felt like a private beach. The apartment was adequate, it would be best to bring your own sheets as there is a charge on top for sheets, and if you don't order sheets you sleep under a blanket which I ami sure is not washed every week. We enjoyed the apartment very much, mind you the TV channels and programs were rubbish, but who goes on holiday to watch telly? There are supermarkets and a local spar shop which you will notice about two miles away on the main road, they have all you need and there are supermarkets quite near as well. Don't forget a toilette roll!Yes, it was a good value for money stay, we were there at the end of August.When you get there, find your apartment and open the door the key will be at the back of the lock, the office seems to shut around 5pm, but you will see your name on a list on the office, which is by the pool. The office is closed in the evening, but just check in next morning.Internet connection outside and in the office area, by the pool, handy for the kids whilst you are preparing dinner.

The apartments are really cosy, I staying there for 7 nights with my husband and 2y old son and we really felt comfy and comfortable there. Swimming pool is almost empty, you can use sunbeds for free. Although there are some cons: - watch out for apartments facing the roadm it is national road from Bastia to Bonifacio and locals like to speed during the night. Noise is terrible! - reception is open from 9 till 12 and then 3pm till 6pm, when you arrive late it is a problem (fortunately our keys were waiting inside the apartment, which was open) - beach is quite close when you look at map, but there is no way you can walk there, need car! But the price is reallu good so you can sacrifice that in sake of cost saving...
