“Great overnight stop.”

Nice hotel in the centre of a beautiful old town. The rooms are good, though room safes would be beneficial. Breakfast was superb and the staff very professional and helpful. Secure parking costs E10, or there is plentiful free parking directly outside the hotel

“A great find”

What a great hotel. Amazingly friendly staff, really nice room, terrific breakfast and off-road parking. A well-stocked bar helped at the end of the day. Although not the cheapest of places, I think this one is well worth the extra money. Nice and close to some good restaurants in town too.

Stayed here, for 3 nights, last week with another couple of friends. We have stayed here on many occasions, and it's always been a great stay - this time was no exception. Lovely comfortable room, very clean, lots of room for our stuff and comfortable bed. A kettle as well as the coffee machine, would be appreciated, but we had our own kettle, so it wasn't really an issue. not much provision in the way of coffee though. Lovely fluffy towels and plenty of hand wash gel and shower gel. Always love staying here and looking forward to our next visit. Carparking is secure and off street. Breakfasts are good.

Hotel recently redecorated. The room was very large and the shower en suite was large and well laid out. The bed was extremely comfortable but the duvet was heavy and very warm. There was a nice touch of little blanket throws. The towels were good quality. The mattress was very comfortable and there were 2 pillows each. There was a TV and wireless access. A little fridge with a limited choice of drinks but the fridge more useful than the drinks. There was a Nespresso coffee machine and some coffee pods as well as a couple of tea options. There was no kettle which for a Brit is pretty important but the man at the reception lent me one. The cups are not tea friendly so advise to bring your own. These were just expresso cups. There was parking at the rear of the hotel but we were not advised that there was a charge. There is also parking in the square at the front of the hotel. You can access the hotel from the parking. The hotel is dog friendly which is why we chose it, however it was limited on places to take them for a walk. There is also a charge for dogs. We had planned to eat in the restaurant but changed our mind as was very limited for non red meat eaters. Also the wine was very expensive. We found a lovely little restaurant 2 minutes walk away. There was a cupboard with hanging space but the shelves housed a safe and extra bed linen so limited. Wouldn’t advise a lengthy stay. Maybe other rooms have more furniture. The only mirror was in the bathroom and the hairdryer was attached to the wall there. It was well heated. The window ledges afforded somewhere to put toiletries etc. There was a large reception area giving onto a bar. The hotel is in the centre of town. The lighting was poor although not unattractive. We opted out of breakfast which was €18 per person given that I only eat max one croissant and a coffee there was no simpler option. We had a coffee at the Shuttle terminal less than an hour’s drive. We would definitely return making allowances from our experience on this stay.
