“Good place”

We hired a car and just used as a base, livable accommodation, if you like coffee bring a travel kettle. We did half board and the food I would give 7/10. If you know Greece then you will know it is basic accommodation. I would stay here again.

When we arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon/early evening, the girl at the reception did not seem very willing to do her job, which was not a very welcoming attitude for guests who had just arrived and expected a warmer reception. However, she did offer us a cold sandwich and some fruit, which was kind of her. The hotel itself was very beautiful and well maintained, with four clean swimming pools. The food at the restaurant was tasty, rich, and offered a good variety of choices. The room was nice, spacious, very clean, and well cared for.

Location: Nice 15min walk to the vibrant harbour village of Kassiopi,mostly road & very little footpaths,watch your step on crazy paving,especially if it wet..The hotel complex is divided into 2,with a road running through the middle of it.. Atmosphere: I got the impression that someone had been given a lifeline to reinvest in the hotel but somehow not everyone got the same email!. I totally agree with other comments,there’s no way this place is a 4 star,I’ve stayed in better organised motorway service hotels..Easyjet advertise & sell this as a 3star,despite this,the hotel still charged me 10Euro per night stay,considering it’s the start of the season. Rooms: Our room was in the 400 block,clean tidy,dated well worn serviceable fixtures & fittings,old yellowing fridge (formerly self catering rooms) appliances disconnected.Bed comfortable,hot shower,good hairdryer,good wifi signal.Regular supply of fresh towels & room freshened,bins emptied,although floors weren’t always swept (so watch out for the little bugs)..Don’t expect a nice relaxing lyin bed,the cleaners make enough noise attempting to get in the room even if youve double locked it,until you are forced to open the door (take my advice & get a “Do Not Disturb” trust me you will thank me) I wish we had!..There’s no safe in the room either. Halfboard: Breakfast & Evening meal… Breakfast good choice of hot food buffet style,cold meats,cereal & hot drinks & fruit juices.Some of the fried eggs like rubber & stale bread but we always found something to eat, Evening meal was just that you got you buffet style meal & had to purchase a beverage to accompany your meal,all the drink dispensers from breakfast covered over & off. I did challenge the staff & I was told that’s the way it is,I have to buy from the bar(I refused & brought my own beverage with me for the full 14 days). There was also 3 power & water cuts while during our stay.Not one member of staff did any welfare checks to see if we needed assistance or water etc etc..There’s not even a printed emergency/fire escape plan on the back of the room door,anywhere in the building. Well there is a few more things I could add,but my overall opinion it reminds me of bottom end British Best Western in a rundown town trying to do better…Each to their own opinion & I hope you have a fantastic holiday..Kassipoi is a beautiful place & we will return but not at this hotel.
