This place is so tranguil. The owners Marc and his wife and sister are so friendly and keep the place spotless. The rooms are probably the largest ones we have stayed in any greek are we have visited. We were greeted every day with a nice chat and nothing was to much trouble. The food in the local restaurants was awesome. Definitely give the studios top score in everything. Would we come back here. Hell yes.

“Wonderful 2 week stay at Angelina”

We arrived late due a flight delay and Mack, the owner, was very welcoming and helped us with our suitcases to the room. He gave us a quick welcome talk explaining the nearby restaurants, supermarkets, beaches and details of the facilities at Angelina Studios. This was very helpful as despite us being tired we were hungry and headed out from some food. Angelina Studios is located up a very steep hill so it’s not ideal for people with walking difficulties unless you have access to a car / transport. The. Angelina Studios is located at the top of a steep road located immediately opposite bus stop 15, in between Kolios and Agia Paraskevi. The road leading to Angelina had a good number of restaurants along it making it convenient if you didn’t want to venture too far. To name a few, this included Infinity Blue, Crazy Rooster and Skiathos Argento. We had our first meal at the Crazy Rooster and met the owner Manos who was very welcoming and took time to speak to us. He made us giggle asking if we would come back for some “horny cocktails” and invited us to use the pool whenever we wanted to. The food was very nice. The Crazy Rooster also has a supermarket attached stocking all the basic essentials and more. Most mornings we had breakfast at Skiathos Argento and were served by the owners daughter. It was 8 euros for toast, bread including jam and honey, a full English or Greek breakfast, orange juice, coffee and tea. Bargain!! It was served with a smile, with nice chill out music in the background and with a beautiful view down the valley towards Kolios. We highly recommend this place for breakfast if you’re staying at the Angelina. Going back to the Angelina Studios, as you pass all the restaurants and other hotels, you come to another very steep incline to the studios. At times it was very tiring climbing the hill considering the heat but it was equally helping keep our bellies down from all the eating we were doing. Not just that, but the Angelina’s steep location meant that you get the best views down to the sea and across the valley. It was breathtaking and very peaceful, set in pine forests, a good distance from the main road. You really felt you were away from the hustle and bustle and the Angelina is a perfect place to relax and have peace and quiet. We believe the owners also try to enforce this tranquility for its guests. If you’re looking for loud music and pool parties, this isn’t the place for you. It was very much a chilled and quiet place where you could switch off from the stresses of home. We had room 7, an end room on the first floor, above the pool bar. This meant we had the best views of the ocean and pool. We also had a side window which looked southwards towards the ocean and allowed more light to enter the room. The room had everything we needed for a self catering holiday; plenty of utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, a two ring cooking hob, a kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and plenty of space to prepare food. You’re also provided with two towels, cloths, scour sponge and washing up liquid. The bed was a double (two single beds attached together). We found the bed a little hard but mattress choice is personal preference and understand some people prefer it this way. That said, it didn’t prevent us getting a good night sleep and wasn’t a negative point for us. The room and bathroom was very large, bigger than most rooms we’ve had when staying in Greece. Plenty of drawer and wardrobe space to hang your clothes. The room also had a table and chairs, a seating area/sofa bed and another two seater seat. We also had a small table and two chairs on the balcony where we enjoyed seating in the late afternoon catching the last rays of the sun. All the balconies face West so all enjoy the afternoon sun. Towels and bedding is changed every third day and the rooms are cleaned daily. The cleanliness of the rooms was one was of the highlights; always left in an immaculate condition and felt fresh. It was a pleasure to return to the room after a hot day at the beach. Not forgetting to mention that you also get free air conditioning, which was a big plus for us. It really made a difference and helped us get to sleep in the heat. The pool area was also immaculate. The sun beds are wooden with soft white mattress tops; very comfortable. There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas around the pool, enough for everyone and there’s no need to get up early to reserve your place around the pool. Most days, it was just my partner and I at the pool, we had the place to ourselves, which was lovely. Mack and his wife were always on hand at the pool bar ready to serve you any refreshments. We didn’t use the bar so I’m unable to give any detail of what drinks are served or if any snacks are available. I believe the pool bar doesn’t serve food but I may be wrong. There are also seating areas around the pool to take a break from the sun and enjoy the shade. The owners of the Angelina Studios also make this place very special. Mack was full of information and could regularly be heard helping guests with information about the island. His wife was always smiling and made you feel very welcome regularly asking if we were okay. A truly beautiful person and she even gave me a hug when we left. We saw Angelina a couple of times and she waved out to us when we saw her doing some gardening; she was also very friendly and always smiling. I believe Angelina is also responsible for making and leaving the delicious home made cake in our room at various times during our 2 week holiday, which was delicious and a lovely little touch, which we appreciated. On our last day, our flight wasn’t until the evening but our check out time was 11am. Mack allowed us to use the pool for the rest of the day and provided us with fresh towels so we could get washed and fresh in the shower room below the pool. This was very much appreciated and allowed us to freshen up for our flight home. Would we stay here again? Yes definitely. Would we recommend it? Yes 100%. This is a wonderful characterful property in typical Greek architecture, which is what we were looking for before we booked, set in a quiet and beautiful location. The Angelina Studios allowed us to recharge our batteries from our hectic life’s at home. Thank you Mack and family. We had a great time. John & Mark X

“Holiday”

We have just left after 2 wonderful weeks .We cannot praise enough..Mack and family for their hospitality.Geuine friendly atmosphere nothing was any trouble for their guests ,appartments are lovely 😍 and the cake is a very nice touch from Angelina xx

“Good”

It has a great view of the sea. The rooms are compact and comfortable with a large terrace. The host was extremely kind and welcoming. We definitely recommend renting a car because the location has large hills and is difficult to reach on foot.
