“I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return - read before going.”

It was a mixed bag, but the final outcome would be not again. Why? Location - was in a part of Bali that is quiet, it is real Bali in my view. I enjoyed that part, the friendly nature of locals. A laundry out the front door was awesome. No washing when we got home. Car included - this is not really the case, you have to book early and the ‘cost’ of petrol you had to pay, may as well have hoped in a taxi. The drivers were not that friendly. Bathrooms - most were good and clean. The one I and my wife had was partial indoor / outdoor. The shower was unusable. You would need to wear shower shoes. It was not clean even after cleaned. Cold water, no hot. They said there was but after 5 min of water on, still none. Towels were thin, and we had a few with stains. The rest of the bathrooms where good, clean and happy to use. Chef - when we used was acceptable, not amazing. The breakfast wasn’t that great. Again, acceptable. Beds - most were a little hard, but I am all good with that. One was broken, but credit was fixed as soon as requested. Finally, the pool, gardens, rooftop etc where all good. The fridge took 24 hours to cool but then was good. We didn’t pay a lot, so didn’t rate super hard. The staff in villa were all friendly, kind and courteous. They were responsive. Overall a few things need to be addressed. The general cleaning could be fixed, the attention to detail, and the staff area needs to be addressed as it didn’t look nice. This puts doubt in your mind of overall care for the place. Would I go again, no. I think there is better options. But with limited places with the number of bedroom and bathrooms, it is a good location for large groups to have a few bintangs.
