Found out week before trip conrad bali no longer offers paid lounge access even when booking a suite unless you are Hilton Diamond we are Gold, I cancelled the conrad and booked HILTON BALI RESORT (2) King Executive Ocean View rooms that included lounge access BEST DECISION EVER! From the time we arrived for 5-night stay till checkout it’s impressive how well this huge property is run. Two 10th floor spotless rooms near each other for 5-night stay that included welcome snacks for both rooms over multiple days. Housekeeping has 2x per day service and one evening requested 8pm service which was no problem. Gold gets you free breakfast at the Grain which isn’t to be missed. The executive lounge is a private oasis (no kids) the hot breakfast menu in lounge was so good we had breakfast there twice. Lounge in evening comes with free mixed drinks as well as beer, wine, plenty of food and the staff is fantastic. We tried every restaurant on property, Gold gets you big discounts, the food is diverse and delicious at all of them, also drink prices are very low. Wife and daughter both enjoyed spa over multiple days the facilities are first rate, and costs were 75% below NYC prices. Ocean views can’t be beat especially watching the surfers, you will also get perfect view of sunrise, monkeys everywhere and they are great to watch. There is bank ATM near the resort entrance, they will take you in buggy if you need cash for tips. This is truly a 5-star resort, all staffers here are outstanding, book a tower executive room you won’t be disappointed.

We had a fantastic stay at Hilton Bali Resort. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning pools and a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were outstanding – friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. One of the best features was the WhatsApp service. Instead of calling reception, you can simply message with your room number and request anything (pillows, water, maintenance, etc.). It worked brilliantly. I even reported a few minor issues with photos, and they were fixed quickly – such a smart and convenient system. The resort was very clean throughout, and importantly, none of us got sick during our stay. The kids absolutely loved it – especially the water slide and the movie night on the lawn, which was a great touch. The food overall was very good. Breakfast at Grain Restaurant was excellent – a huge buffet with more than enough variety. We also had great meals at The Shore Restaurant and The Breeze. That said, dinner at Grain (the “Flame & Fork” night) was disappointing. It felt like only a third of the buffet was available, with limited salad options and average quality compared to breakfast. I’d recommend trying the other restaurants instead. The only real downside – and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 – was the confusion around the half-board package. While the concept is simple (breakfast plus lunch or dinner with vouchers), the explanation at check-in was unclear. We were told to just go to the restaurants, but in reality there are quite a few rules and limitations. For example: Some restaurants have restricted menus for half-board. Elara (adults-only dining experiences like “Taste of Spain”) require a significant surcharge 200k each on half board. You can bring kids only on Taste of Pain night Hanami Japanese Restaurant isn’t included, which is surprising given the pricing. Maybe give Half board a set amount to spend? That said, the staff were actually very flexible once you understood how it worked. We were able to mix and match between restaurants – for example, having entrées from The Breeze and mains from The Shore Restaurant while sitting by the pool. As long as you stayed within the structure (e.g. entrée + main, main + dessert, or entrée + dessert), they were accommodating, which made the experience much better. None of this is a deal-breaker, but it would be much better if guests were given a clear printed guide or proper explanation at check-in. It would avoid confusion and help people get the most value from the package. A final tip: join Hilton Honors (it’s free). You get 10% off food and drinks, which adds up over a stay. Overall, a great resort for families with excellent service, great facilities, and a relaxing vibe. Highly recommended – just go in understanding how the half-board works.
