The team at Purana Suites Ubud take care of you from before you even arrive - reaching out with gracious, happy, welcoming, offers of help messages. Our airport transfer was organised by Purana (thank you - our driver Iwayan - was lovely) …& Ayu then went to great lengths when we had to reschedule our booking - for which we are eternally grateful. And this kindness and support then extended throughout our full experience of Purana. If anything is any trouble or a lot of work behind the scenes to anyone, it never shows! The entire team are happy, sunny, smiling, cheerful, super-caring, interested and super-efficient. The prevalent joy and tending from everyone in the team is uplifting and joyous. This special demeanour and happy work ethic throughout - without exception from anyone - sets Purana apart from anywhere else we have ever experienced. In addition to a full team who readily & happily tend to your every need and whose joy will swell your heart: • the ambience of Purana is beautiful - it looks and feels like pure paradise; • the pool is gorgeous - kept super clean and a perfect temperature; • the sun-beds are lovely & comfortable with ample shade if you need it - fresh towels are always plentiful too; • everywhere is kept spotlessly clean; • rooms are fabulous - great aesthetics, beds & linen so comfortable; super power shower, great air-con, loved having robes …& bedtime stories! • breakfast is superb - especially the fruit and fresh fruit juice - and the extent of choice is wonderful; • the complimentary Afternoon Tea is delicious too and a lovely touch; • the new Noonik bistro is a fantastic addition - we were so happy to have eaten there - the food was glorious • a silly little thing - but all the crockery, cutlery, glasses, bed linen & towels are fabulous quality, giving a sense always of luxury - it meant that everything eaten & to drink felt michelin star quality! • my 60min massage & body scrub from Desa was sublime In fact, ‘sublime’ is probably the best single word to sum up Purana. A truly exemplary team, a beautiful paradise, impeccable cleanliness and quality prevailing throughout. Oh - and the location is perfect too - left turn and a few minutes walk to all the restaurants & shops. We loved every moment and truly hope we get the chance to return. A huge heart-felt thank-you to each & every one of you for everything.

Our stay at Purana Suite Hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the very first moment, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and personalized attention that made us feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated, blending modern comfort with elegant Balinese style. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery — the perfect place to relax after exploring Ubud. Breakfast was delicious and varied, served with care and fresh local ingredients. The hotel also offers thoughtful touches, like complimentary afternoon tea and soothing spa treatments, that make the experience even more special. Without a doubt, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed in Bali. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, genuine hospitality, and an excellent location — close to Ubud’s center yet wonderfully quiet and serene.

From the street, the property is unassuming, but it’s very nice inside. And the staff is amazingly, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We ate at the on-site restaurant several times, and the food was excellent, and we also had several massages which were very good. All the rooms open out onto the pool area, which is kind of a courtyard, but open to the sky. It was great. It rained a bit, which is to be expected in February. But it kind of stops it starts. I would stay again, definitely

My stay at Purana Resort was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The property was very clean and well maintained with no odors or critters, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing. The bed was also one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in while traveling. The welcome drink quickly became my favorite drink during my stay. Even though it was not on the menu, the staff happily made it for me whenever I asked. The massage was the best I have ever received and the cooking class was so much fun. I did start to feel a little lightheaded during the class and the chef kindly finished preparing the meal while making sure I was okay. The restaurant serves the best Indonesian food I have ever had. I truly did not have a single dish that I did not enjoy. I also want to mention Fitri, who was so welcoming. We talked, laughed, and she has such a beautiful smile and spirit. Sukraeni was equally as amazing too. Everyone at the property actually. I typically struggle to remember names, but I’ll never forget theirs because of the service. Even after I moved to another property to join friends who arrived later, I kept coming back to Purana every day for drinks, food, or a massage until I left Bali. Whenever I return to Ubud, I will absolutely stay at Purana Resort again.
