Stay for 5 nights for work, although I did came with my wife and my son. To be honest, I had a doubt at the beginning when I came to this hotel, particularly due to very limited parking spot and it entrance that became one with the entrance to Botany Square Mall. But then, my doubt was baseless as the security quickly showed me reserved parking spot for hotel visitors. The hotel itself was nothing special and rather small. The lobby was small and can be cramped when there are many people doing check-in or check-out at the same time, but the check-in and check-out process were smooth and without any problem. Now, about the room, it was large enough, clean, and neat, without any noticeable weird smell or stains. Although I have to admit the lighting in the room is dim and not really comfortable for working inside the room. For my room, the bathroom is rather small and there was no bathtub, but that was not a problem at all. Next, the food for breakfast. Although it is considered as budget hotel, the food selection is rather generous and delicious. I particularly drawn to the 'analog rice' which made from corn, instead of grain of rice. As a note, my son love the chicken porridge served during the breakfast. Now, one thing that makes this hotel rather special in my opinion is the location. It is located inside the area of Botany Square Mall, so it is very convenient when one need to buy lunch/dinner or do shopping. Aside from that, this hotel also directly connected to the bus terminal, which provide public transportation in and out from Bogor. The airport bus was also stationed at that terminal, so it is convenient for people than need a quick transport to their flight home. Additionally, the hotel (and mall) was located at the entrance/exit of the toll road to Jakarta, so those who travels with car could very easily reach this place and quickly make their exit towards Jakarta. HOWEVER, the traffic could get really really bad during rush hour and weekend, so keep in mind of the traffic when travel to or from this hotel. In conclusion, this is a hotel worth to stay for business purpose or to other purpose than leisure, as this hotel lack many leisure facilities like swimming pool, fitness center, or spa (is there any? I can't remember). That being said, the strategic location and its direct connection to a large mall is really an advantage for some people.

IPB hotel was reasonably clean except for the hallway carpets. Breakfast was good with a large selection. Location at the Botani mall was a plus because of the huge food court on the top floor. Street vendors looked sketchy so the food court with a large number of booths was a practical choice for meals. The traffic in Bogor is horrendous. It is not the small quiet town I was expecting.

I booked junior room with a single bed. Unfortunately there's no hanger for me to hang my clothes that I've ironed. The lowest tv volume is still too loud. The kettle is kind of dirty. But apart from that, I really enjoyed the stay. The staffs were very friendly, the location is great. There's lot of food option at the mall next to it. Would definitely stay here again.

“Great location”

The hotel is next to botanic square mall, very convenient, just a few steps away. Good for those like to shopping. The room is clean and good. Will stay again next time. Recommended for everyone. But don't have hair dryer

I stayed for one night in the Junior Room. A very small room, only fit for one person. It has very little commodities, you have your very basic toiletries, towel. I stayed for one night in the Junior Room. A very small room, only fit for one person. It has very little commodities, you have your very basic toiletries, towel. The sink and toilet were rather tiny, i felt like a giant BUT i loved the hot shower. Very nice water pressure and temperature. It’s not a room that you look for comfort. I didn’t much like the pillow, it was large and hard. It was better to sleep without the pillow. The mattress was a bit stained as well. It has a nice quran and sajdah. The hotel is beside a mosque and the botani mall. It had a good breakfast spread. I had to check out early so I didn’t get to really enjoy the food. So, ONLY a place to sleep the night and nothing more.
