What a fabulous place to start our travels around Bali. Set in the rain forest just 15 mins drive from Seminyak, this amazing villa provided a tranquil setting to enjoy our stay. We were met by the fabulous Ryan and Franni at the airport and taken to Villa Green Day, where we were welcome by the rest of the staff. Ryan and Franni took us to many places where we all enjoyed some gorgeous Indonesian hospitality and some amazing food. The villa is quite stunning and spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One morning we had wonderful mango smoothies, which my son watched them pick from the ( very tall) trees surrounding the villa. The villa is semi open, made up of two large buildings and an open style kitchen/living area. This meant spending lots of time in the beautiful weather and surroundings - it also lead to great scenery for the few rain storms we embraced! Nothing was too much trouble. What ever you required they would make sure they would do their best to provide. This included helping with transport into seminyak and the other places in Bali, Ryan made sure that we got out and about so that we had the opportunity to see parts of Bali that aren't necessarily on the well logged travel journals. There was only two of us staying but the villa is huge and can easily accommodate 8+. We ate breakfast in a different spots everyday thanks to the multiple seating and dining areas. The villas makes for a good venue for hosting parties and special occasions. I will definitely be back. I can't wait to return to Bali and see Ryan and Franni, where they will have a son of their own for me to meet. :))))

“Magic place”

Villa Greenday is an exceptional place for Bali. The architect used a lot of white color in design, so it looks pristine and shiny. Villa Greenday is an exceptional place for Bali. The architect used a lot of white color in design, so it looks pristine and shiny. Villa is situated in a quiet village, away from hassle and noise of touristic Bali. It takes approx. 10 mins by car to go to Tanah Lot or Echo Beach, 30-40 mins to Kuta or Denpasar, depending on traffic situation. My favourite spot was villa's pool, that was cool and refreshing even in the midday heat. Villa has a lot of open space, and a lot of greenery, like huge bamboo trees, so flying insects were sometimes an issue. Kitchen is well equipped, and staff is helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place for big families or for occasions like friends' reunions. Villa has four separate bedrooms, and huge open air sitting space, as well as a barbecue place. My favourite time was in the evenings, when you could hear faint sounds of gamelan music from a nearby village temple.It created a genuine magic atmosphere.

“Modern villa and nice saty”

It was 1 hour away from the airport but i took us about 1.5 hrs to reach there due to traffic. The villa was big modern villa with infinity pool. They do not accept credit card or debit card so we had to pay in cash and money transfer before arriving. They provide driver and car for 53$ for 7-8… more

It was 1 hour away from the airport but i took us about 1.5 hrs to reach there due to traffic. The villa was big modern villa with infinity pool. They do not accept credit card or debit card so we had to pay in cash and money transfer before arriving. They provide driver and car for 53$ for 7-8 hrs But no suggestions as where to go or see. Only staff know fairly good English is the manger rayan But rooms were not clean as dust were in some corners not cleaned for many days. Bugs where big minus for me , as they were found everywhere spiders and lizard where in and outside the rooms. No dining option available that suites our diet near the villa as they offer no chef at site. But the did offer to order for us but we had to search for suitable restaurant. Towels were provided but not clean or fresh . They extended our check out till 3pm since our flight was at 7pm which i was very thankful for . It was good stay but I don't think i will stay here again. The villa is big so big family or multiple couple might enjoy their stay here if the don't mind spiders

“Remote and self-contained”

We stayed at Villa Greenday as we had friends getting married at a nearby resort. The place is made up of two double buildings each as separate bedrooms with ensuites and styled differently. The complex has an open central kitchen and dining areas as well as multiple lounges. And a large and deep infinity pool overlooking the river. We only used two rooms at the bottom level. Staff were friendly and made us breakfast each day which consisted of an omelette, some sausage, ham, corn flakes, bread with jam and peanut butter as well as a plate of fresh fruit. For our stay this place was a little inconvenient as you have to order a driver to head anywhere and you can't order any food or no chefs are available. The rooms were big, modern and air conditioned but the place was not super clean but you can see dirt around. Looking back it would have been better for us to stay somewhere locally and just hired a driver to take us to this area on the day of the wedding. Best suited to large families or multiple couples staying who want to enjoy a relaxing time on a self-contained environment.
