I spent 4 nights here, Simona was really helpful, and the breakfasts were fantastic, with lots of local produce, which Simona took the time to explain to me. The location is great for getting about, to the wonderful old part of lecce. There is so much to see, you won’t be disappointed. There is a wonderful pizzeria across the road, only 3 mins walk.. and great atmosphere and value for money. I would definitely recommend staying here.. and will be back soon for another visit I hope!

This AirBnB booking far exceeded my expectations. The host, Simona, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. As she showed me the huge kitchen, big living room and large dining room she said to consider this my home. There was complete access to the refrigerator and stove (which I didn't use) as well as to the entire apartment. My room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities needed---hair dryer in the bathroom, fantastic shower and plenty of big towels. The location couldn't have been better---2 minutes from Lecce's Public Garden and less than 10 minutes by foot to the historic center. Breakfast was wonderful and included speciality pastries from the region, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit and more. Even though it's on a busy commercial street, the bedrooms are very quiet as they open onto an interior courtyard. If you stay at La Dimora di Vesta you won't be disappointed.

This B&B is located in a beautiful, extremely spacious building in a large, vintage-style apartment. The apartment is full of unique vintage furniture which adds to the experience of being in a historic town like Lecce. The rooms, bathrooms and living spaces are all kept very clean, and there is plenty of space to sit around and relax on comfy couches and chairs. The wifi is really quick and works everywhere in the apartment which is nice. The building is located walking distance from downtown Lecce and has two garages where you can park your car. The garages aren't the fanciest but they do the trick and are a convenient and safe place to keep your car. The hostess Simona was very friendly and accommodating and the food was awesome. Over all I would definitely recommend staying here.

This is an understated B&B to the extent that, even standing outside the entrance on the street, it doesn’t exactly hit you in the eye. True, there is a plaque on the wall, but that was partly obscured by leaves, and then there is the intercom call panel, but the label for the property was hard to spot even when you knew it was there. Anyway, the B&B is a third floor apartment in a block accessed from a recessed, mirrored-glass street entrance; although the building itself is modern, the B&B is furnished in a more retro style. We arrived by car and, having made contact with the hosts via the intercom, the gentleman of the property came down to the street and opened up the metal gate to the side of the entrance, which gave access to the underground car park with individual garages; this was provided free of charge but it’s worth booking a place in advance. We then made our way to the third floor, where we were welcomed by Simona, who showed us the facilities and our room. The room was of a good size but the bathroom was tiny by Italian standards – basically it was the width of the shower cubicle with the fittings arranged in a line down the room; possibly not suitable for someone of larger stature. The bathroom also had a particular smell that we put down to the fact that the shower cubicle seemed to be lined with reed matting. Breakfast was spectacular - apart from fruit, there was a whole array of cakes, tarts and pastries, many of which Simona had made herself. Having managed to sample just a few on the first morning, there were even more the next day! The B&B is in an excellent location just a 10-minute walk to the centre of the city and Lecce is small enough to cover easily in a day. Overall, we were pleased that we had chosen this B&B.
