“Basic, clean and located 2 mins from the beach!!!”

We stayed here for 1 night as we had an early flight from Alghero airport. The rooms are very clean and aircondition is very powerful. Tony the manager is extremely friendly and speaks good English. He went out of his way to check us in at 3pm. The beach is literally located 2 mins walk and we spend a wonderful afternoon at the beach. The accommodation also offers outdoor seating which is nice. If you are after a basic, clean and low cost accommodation that is near the beach this is for you! Tony thank you for all your help.

Basic accommodation but very clean with very friendly staff. There are really no facilities here with basic breakfast, but everything is available near by. Basic accommodation but very clean with very friendly staff. There are really no facilities here with basic breakfast, but everything is available near by. Tony is the manager and is helpful and very friendly. He is not on site all day so must be told when you will arrive. It's not a five star establishment, but perfectly fine. There are many reasonably good restaurants in the area, but it is 3 km away from the real city centre / port. Very close to the beach (a couple of minutes)

We stayed only for one night. Tony was really helpful and flexible in organizing our arrival. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and very clean. It has a small fridge with a complementary bottle of water which was really great! The staff were really friendly. Placed a 20 minute walk away from the centre this is a very good choice if you are on a budget.

“If you get a REALLY cheap price it's worth this very budget accom, but if you're paying high season prices go elsewhere”

We stayed for 4 nights in July and based on the high price we paid, we don't think it was worth it. For another €10 a night you could stay at a much better establishment, however if you're staying here and getting a very cheap price then it is worth it. Tony the manager is not on site often so if you need him you'll have to call or message him, which when you're in Sardinia on holidays you are paying high rates to use your mobile on roaming. Unfortunately Tony is not understanding of this, often after sending 1 text of your intended arrival time, he'll then ask you to do this again when at the premises or call him when you actually arrive. He's often very late, which means a follow up text or call etc - you can see how the communication is a let down here and costly on roaming. The cleaning is not terrible but it's not thorough either. You are given 1 small roll of loo roll, so if you're in a family or a bunch of friends, you'll probably run out day 1 and need to supply your own. There are many pros & cons, I list them here (also see my various pics for details): Cons: - Light in bathroom broken, one not working at all - Pillows no support so stiff neck/sore shoulders & upper back - No electrical powerpoints at desk so can’t use computers/mobile chargers at desk. All the outlets are overused with fridge, TV & light. We had to set up our electronics on the extra spare bed with the only other power source in the room. This makes the desk useless. - If you are using spare single bed for accommodation (kids, family, friends) you will have nowhere to set up your laptop, tablet, mobile phones as no other power source. - Fridge in the way of bathroom entrance so have to squeeze past the fridge to enter the bathroom. - Bathroom window only opens with a giant gap and is a large window, so when open everyone can see in and gain access (ie climbing in) – if window open no privacy. - No natural light in bedroom, it has small separate glass entrance doors on the side of the room for natural light, with shutters that pull down for privacy. If doors open, no privacy and lots of bugs, with people walking past constantly so no safety either. This is the only way you'll have natural light. When the shutters are closed it is very dark. - Lots of mosquitoes, bugs etc in room all the time – even when doors/windows kept closed. - Internet terrible - Shower cubicle made from cheapest possible bendable plastic so shower doors & screen barely keep water in shower. - Shower head not adjustable – one height only which tends to spill water over the top of cheap shower cubicle so water floods the bathroom. - Takes a while for water to heat up, need to run the water for a while otherwise too cold to get in, then the actual maximum water heat wasn’t that hot! If you like a really hot shower, forget it. - No safe in room - Air conditioning is terrible, I had it set to 16 degrees just to get the room cool and it took all day. It was left at this temperature because it never felt like 16 degrees, always felt like 22 degrees! Pros: - Close to beach (across the road) & beach is stunning - Green park & trees across the road - good for families or picnics with friends - Beach cafe & lots of other cafes/restaurants nearby - Easy flat 10 minute walk into main town area for restaurants/cafes/night life - Good free parking at accommodation - Quiet & safe location, minimal or zero noise at night when sleeping - Reasonably clean rooms - Soap & shampoo pouches provided - Club bar (open at certain times only) on premises - Free large bottle of water provided on arrival (no further ones provided) - Clothes airer provided for drying towels/wet swimming gear outside your room - Large sized bar fridge

Well the experience was kind of sweet and sour. The guy how we're supposed to make our check in wasn't there and we had to call him. He was very kind anyway. The internet didn't work and our shower was literally falling apart. It fell over my head and the "glass" doors also fell while I was trying to close them to take a bath. The bed wasn't a double bed but two single ones which is not very comfortable for a couple. The breakfast was just a joke, kind of a kids party with terrible cakes and plastic dishes. But ok, it is for free. The location is in middle what seems to be a social neighborhood but close to the city center anyway. After all those not very pleasant things we had a place to park our car and they were very nice on giving us a fresh bottle of water on arrival. The exterior area is nice and the room has a fridge and air conditioner. It is very cheap compared to the other hotels in the area, then if you are in a budget it is a good place to stay.
