Davi is a bit off the beaten track (about 30 min. walk from the centre and a good bit of it uphill) but there is a bus stop nearby which gets you to the centre in ten minutes. There are very few or no supermarkets or stores close although there is a morning street market a ten-minute walk away. The rooms are located in a separate corridor on the ground floor which also accesses the shared kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen and rooms have lockable access to a patio at the back which in turn accesses the street through a closed gate. The rooms are comfortably sized and have basic furnishings with a double bed (in fact two single ones) on boxspring matresses, chairs, tables, lamp, racks, television (Italian channels only) and free wifi (variable strength). There are also ample electricity sockets (!) but they are only fit for the Italian small-diameter plugs (I did see a single adapter lying about in the kitchen). The rooms have no air conditioning but the windows have shutters and fixed pull-down mosquito netting. Both windows and shutters can be locked. Blankets are provided upon arrival. Bathrooms have a toilet, bidet, shower and sink each, hair dryers are available and one of the bathrooms even has a laundry machine (albeit out of order when I was there). The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, sink, water cooker, refrigerator and an espresso machine. It also has a dining table, sofa and television (again Italian channels only).
