And, for added convenience, the property has free parking for guests. .The architectural complex of Hotel Batia rises in the early 800s, first as residence for the De Blasi Casali family, that in the mid 900s donated it to the ecclesial community of the Sisters of Baby Jesus, which used it as convent and orphanage for abandoned children. The structure in that period was named “Villa Gaia”. It was completely restructured in 2009, to be used as 4 star Hotel. From the Militello family of Alcamo (current owners), it has been given to the artistic direction, both interiors and exteriors, to Prof. Stefano Artale painter and sculptor, and it represents the only great piece of work realised before the recent disappearance. An art hotel, unique and exclusive of this kind, that combines the charm of historical architecture with frescoes and paintings.
The restaurant serves genuine national cuisine and regional specialties, while breakfast consists of a continental buffet, served in the dedicated room overlooking the garden.
