“Adequate”

Everything you need including a kitchen and a spacious living room. The major drawback is the location. It is a 4 kilometre walk from the centre. Buses are not frequent in Syracuse. Apart from this, the apartment is tremendous value.

If you are coming to syracuse for business be sure to book an appartment in this residence...why?? Because the service here is really Great, the staff will do whatever in their power to make your life easy! And here i would like to thank Tina the manager and Carmelo for their help and their disponibility. The residence provide free laundry ,free breakfast and brand new bicicles to get to ortigia if you don't have a car or simply take the bus 12 and be there in like 10mins. If you having friends over you don't pay for extra people. However be sure to book the rooms C10 or 11 or 12 or 13 or B 6 cz they are rinnovated and in good conditions. The kitchen is poorly equiped and to be honest i can't say that the housekeepers are very clean but i don't want to complain cz of the kindness of everyone who works here!

“Confusing stay and experience!”

We stayed 7 nights in the apartment in Residence Royal. The accommodation is nice and very true to price Location: the accommodation is far from the centre (Ortygia) and can take up to an hour to walk. There is very little around so nightly journeys are required if you want some nightlife. But there are local restaurants and shops in the vicinity. There is lots of parking and we had no trouble getting a space when arriving back from a day of excursions. There is also a supermarket very close by. Living Room: the room is very spacious. The living area has a table and chairs, and 2 single futons make up the seating. The kitchen however was equipped to a minimal standard so we did have to buy utensils and cleaning supplies. Bathroom: the bathroom is very large with a built in hair dryer but the shower is extremely small. The toilet has a tap style flush function which leaked a little. There were towels provided when we arrived and 2 sachets of shower gel. However we were staying here for a whole week and were NOT told how we could expect fresh towels or toilet paper. In the end we had to look for a cleaner or employee to get these and very often there was no one to be found. Bedroom: the bedroom was a good size but the double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses that moved a lot in the night. The TV was in the room too so we didn't use it much. Cleanliness: the room really wasn't very clean. The Dishes were still in the draining cupboard and were not cleaned well at all. The shower was clogged with hair and the sink also had hair on it. There was a sweeping brush for us to keep the floors swept but no dustpan so the dust could not be lifted. There were no cleaning products or bags for the bin. Overall, we weren't really sure about what facility were available to us. When we checked in we weren't told ANYTHING except where our room was! Overall this was a 2/5 experience but the budget price does make it a 3/5.

“Spaceous rooms”

The rooms are very spacious, with basic furniture, only the kitchen was new, which is nice. The location is around 3KM from center and 5km from Ortygia. For our taste it was a little bit to far from center, but otherwise we didn't have any problems.

location is convenient, if you have a car... apartments are spacious and comfortable, but they could be furnished a little bit better... kitchen utensils are quite poor quality, too.
