We checked out of a previous place because we were very disappointed in the amenities and the noise of the construction first thing on a Sunday morning. So we phoned around to several place first and then stopped by this place. I guess booking on the spot and in person when there is a lot of vacancies really pays off because we got a smoke'n deal. The first week we stayed in suite #4, a one bedroom suite on the main floor with a view of the ocean. The breakfast in the mornings was awesome. The bread was wood oven baked and was to die for. Our server was very nice and pleasant even though we couldn't speak a word of English. There were pancakes and eggs/omelettes with freshly squeezed juices and local fruit. We feasted so we didn't need to eat until late afternoon. The room service was great. The only down side was that the kitchen had an oven but not a stove. The next week we moved up to suite #9 a two bedroom two bathroom suite on the second floor and we also had a view. There was lots of room for our two children that joined us that week. They had there own separate washroom. The water pressure was very good. The downside was that the wifi was intermittent on the second floor. It is not a fault of the hotel but there was a bit more traffic than I would have liked on the road in front of the hotel. However the bedrooms were behind the kitchen and living area so when we went to bed we could not hear a thing. Actually we found the town of Las Terennas quite a bit busier and louder than what we expected. I would definately recommend this hotel. It was close enough to town and right across the street from the beach about a 5 minute walk to Playa Punta Popy

“Clean, quiet, close”

This is my second stay at LA Dolce Vita Residences and both apartments have been similarly good. You may not find a good kitchen knife, or maybe no bottle opener, but the linens are clean, the mattresses decent, and you are close to everything. This is my second stay at LA Dolce Vita Residences and both apartments have been similarly good. You may not find a good kitchen knife, or maybe no bottle opener, but the linens are clean, the mattresses decent, and you are close to everything. The pool is good, the staff efficient and friendly, and the price is better than most of the similar quality places around. Not fancy, but not dirty or falling apart.

“Great location in Las Terrenas”

Property is located right cross the street from the beach in Las Terrenas. Restaurant La Dolce Vita is right in front of the hotel. Great food and ambiance. Property is simple, clean and convenient. Parking is available on property.

Our apartment for 4 was very spacious: 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large living room with kitchen area and a patio with tables and chairs (we were on the 1st floor). Our apartment for 4 was very spacious: 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large living room with kitchen area and a patio with tables and chairs (we were on the 1st floor). It is literally across from the beach but this is not the best part of the beach. Parking is gated. Everything on the property is clean. It was pricey though!
