We returned to the resort after 16 months and we were not disappointed, this is a great resort that we have visited many times. Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming. Thankyou to Alicia from Housekeeping who kept our room spotless for the duration of our stay. As soon as we arrived by Taxi, the Bellboy was there to take our cases, we were checked in very smoothly and were welcomed by many of our “ our family” at the pool area. We have known Ilcia from the Spa for many years as she was first introduced to us as a Pool concierge and she was there again to greet us with a smile and a hug. The restaurants offer varied menus and the food is great, our favourite was the Oceana and we were looked after by Gilberto, Jocelyn and Umberto on the evenings we visited, Manuel in Bordeaux was very friendly as we had remembered him from a previous meeting in Capers. The evening entertainment is varied, however we would like to see more live music please. The bar staff and waitresses work hard to look after everybody, it was good to see Jose Maria and Misael behind the bars in Dreams and Secrets respectively. The buffet restaurant offers a varied breakfast and the waiters are very attentive offering various drinks, special mention to Edgar, Sergio, Wendy, Bennito, Maria, Antonio and Adrian. The Bay Cafe offers light snacks and various coffees throughout the day and night and we were happy to see Perla again, she always has a smile on her face! Barefoot grill serves great food during the day and the chef was brilliant. We were pleased to see Joel the Pool concierge who checked up on us regularly. It was also lovely to see Paola who we knew as a waitress but is now a Concierge ( Well done Paola!!!) , you were so kind to us throughout our stay❤️ There have been so many changes in the Entertainment team since our last visit, but we were delighted to see Jimmy, Ivan and Francisco still there with new members of the team Joel and Aydee who work tirelessly throughout the day and evenings ! Jonathan Favila (Enteetainment Director) was amazing at the Sing and Paint event which he hosted bringing the lobby bar to life! Finally the hardworking Pool Barmen Salvador and Omar and Pool waiters Edgar, Alejandro, Omar, Alfonso, Aurelio, Miguel, Mario, Caleb and April. Also Jonathan and Emilio and Jorge who were working in Dreams but still came and said Hello when they saw us. On our last day Savi was on hand to look after our luggage until we were due to leave. Thankyou to everyone for making our stay wonderful!!!!

“Very good stay”

Overall I loved our week stay here at secrets. The beach is beautiful and warm.The pools are awesome and well maintained. The staff were out cleaning the pools daily. The food was outstanding. Overall I loved our week stay here at secrets. The beach is beautiful and warm.The pools are awesome and well maintained. The staff were out cleaning the pools daily. The food was outstanding. The best food I have had in Mexico in 10+ visits. The rooms were spacious, clean and had very comfy beds. The shower was great. The gym was well stocked and had everything you could ask for, I visited it regularly and often am disappointed in hotel gyms. The staff and service was top notch. Special thanks to Edgar ( by far the best poolside service ever!) Hueberto in the seafood restaurant and Sergio who served us every morning at breakfast, often bringing us a “ special drink”. All 3 of these men were kind, genuine and worked so hard. There were a few minor issues that I think would be very easy for the resort to fix that would take it to another level. First, from the moment we got in our room our mini fridge was never full. Everyday we had to call down for it to be re stocked, even though we left a generous tip out everyday for the staff. Same for the nespresso coffee. We had coffee each morning in the room but it was never re stocked. We had to call daily to get more water, beer and coffee and often we had to call multiple times before any was ever brought to our room. Also, I think the resort would benefit from buying more chairs and umbrellas for poolside. That being said, we will be back and I have already recommended this resort to my family!

“Fantastic group birthday celebration!”

Thank you so much to Secrets for a wonderful week. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and the service, food and property were incredible. Our butler, Jose Becerra, was world class. Thank you!

“Sunset wedding experience”

Suitable for wedding but if you are not drinking these all inclusive resorts aren’t cost effective— way too much $; however for a wedding I see the simplicity of hosting here. The wedding was great— outside at sunset, DJ, violinist was great and staff was awesome!!
