We arrived on Easter and were very excited to visit as this is our favorite place to go in Mexico as we have been to many areas of Mexico. We stayed at Ventus but frequently went over to Ventus Ha in the evenings for drinks. The bartender/Mixologist Jorge is wonderful, we enjoyed his drinks almost every night of our week stay. The chocolate martini's are top notch. We plan to travel back in October and look forward to seeing our favorite butlers, Are Mendez and Manuel Diaz they are amazing and make our stay over the top with their personal care. My friend Araceli wait staff/bartender is also amazing and a good friend, they are all missed when we return to USA. We look forward to our next trip back to see all our friends. We enjoy the room we usually get by the pool and looking out at the ocean, the upgrade to Platinum is well work the cost to us.

It was our first time visiting Mexico, and we had an exceptional stay at Ventus Ha. The hospitality was outstanding, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. The food selection across the property was very satisfying, with a great variety of options offered at multiple restaurants. The seafood restaurant was our favorite. We enjoyed it so much that we went there twice. Jazmine, in particular, was extremely kind and welcoming. Ventus Ha truly has the best kids’ club. My children, ages 10 and 5, had an amazing time and loved the wide range of activities offered every single day. It was very clear that the team genuinely cared for the kids and put in tremendous effort. Roxy took especially great care of our children, and the entire kids’ club team was absolutely fantastic. The rooms, pools, public restrooms, and overall property were spotless. Everything was sparkling clean and very well maintained. I would definitely return to Ventus Ha- we absolutely loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Ventus Ha at El Cid in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, and would highly recommend it. The service was excellent from start to finish, including the help we received before our vacation. They made everything easy and clear, including exactly who to meet at the airport when we arrived. A special thank-you to our butler, Indira, who was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, helpful, kind, and made us feel truly taken care of throughout our stay. We really appreciated everything she did for us. We also want to recognize JC from the concierge team. When we realized we had forgotten to buy contact lens solution, JC went above and beyond by going into the nearby town to get some for us. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference. Overall, the staff made our trip relaxing and memorable. Highly recommend!

“3 in 1 almost makes it worth it”

This is my 9th time in Mexico, all at different resorts (sad I know). At the end I list off the other resorts I’ve been to, some of which I’ve reviewed here, some I haven’t. This is the largest of the 9, if only because it was 3 resorts in one meaning there were multiple pools, multiple restaurants and multiple golf carts whizzing around. Staff were friendly, food was okay, kind of what you would expect, maybe made better by the plentiful ceviche for lunch. Cheese was there, but they kind of threw it there and you had to figure out how to cut a piece with a giant bread knife. Fish was often dry, while some on the bone dishes were really good. Booked the Italian restaurant and it was really not good – too much sauce, dry chicken, couldn’t figure out how to bring out the courses so I ate from two plates at the same time; Al Hambra was good; Kobe was okay with all the yelling and juggling – food was fresh made in front of you. Drinks what you’d expect. The best part was the two rooftop pools at Ventus- Ha. Great view for sunset, could see the ocean and the jungle. I wish they were open later. Ventus-Ha also backs onto the jungle which means you can have breakfast with a crocodile, turtles and lots of tropical fish right below. We only discovered that on the second last day because no one mentioned it at check-in. Worst thing, the beach, not because of the Sargasso seaweed, but that was bad too, but the bulwarks they’ve had to build to keep the beach from washing away. Sad really and I hope this works at some point, but the water was basically unswimmable though we tried. Because the bulwarks are solid and retain the water in pools, the ocean water is very very warm, and kind of gross. Still saw some crabs and very small fish though. Via the resort my daughter and I did one excursion to the coral reefs just off the shore. $115 US for 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back, with an hour in the water following a guide around the park (no turtles or rays, but saw big barracuda, lots of scared fish, some lobsters and the biggest puffer I’ve ever seen). Since it was the only excursion we did it was worth it, but it would have been nice to be able to go to Puerto Morelos and walk around and find someone there to take us out. $15 cab ride apparently from the resort, and the walk is, apparently, not pleasant. Would I go back, no, but the family loved it. I’ve been at: Blue Bay (Puerto Vallarta), (Puerto Aventuras), kid friendly resort (Cozumel), Blue Bay Esmerelda (Mayan Riviera), Club Med (Cancun), Excellence (Playa Mujeres), Las Brisas (Acapulco), Catalonia (Playa Mujeres), and Ventus-Ha (Puerto Morelos)
