As an all inclusive, the hotel was great, the staff impeccable, only shock charge was the security deposit of 100 for the room other than that, the free bar was bottomless the restaurant full of choice but chatted the rashers and sausages..defo a no no..

The flights were more than the hotel to put it into perspective. We just did a three night break over the bank holiday. If you are looking for a budget few days in the sun please do not be put off by the reviews. Yes, bathrooms a bit dated but beds comfy and clean. Yes, restaurant on top floor, level eight, with a lift or if you can walk two flights of stairs as main area is level six then do that. Food very basic but we certainly didn’t go hungry. The thing that has made it for me are the staff. I can honestly say I’ve paid a lot more for accommodation and they have just been rude. These guys work so hard, always smiling and don’t seem to be bothered by the herds of mostly ignorant British who just come and nonstop day drink expecting luxury service. Stars are based on services provided and not whether you are sleeping in Egyptian cotton bed sheets. Ten minutes drive in a taxi to old town. Beautiful beach at the bottom of the road. Do not dismiss this hotel.

We are about to leave after a 4-night break at Monica Isabel Beach Club and overall have had a pleasant experience. The highlight of this hotel is definitely its location — it sits right on the beach, which makes for stunning views and easy access to the sea. Our studio apartment for two was very spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and a lovely sea view from the balcony, which we really enjoyed. The food and drink selection has been of good quality, and honestly better than some all-inclusive resorts we’ve experienced before. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference to our stay. The pool area is also great, although the water was extremely cold — but to be fair, it is April. There are a few downsides worth mentioning. We arrived early but weren’t able to access our room until after 3:00pm, which felt a bit late. The hotel is also a little far from the main resort area, so getting around can be inconvenient — public transport is limited, and you’ll likely rely on taxis. That said, the hotel does offer a courtesy bus to the old town, which helps. We also noticed only two out of three lifts were in operation during our stay, which caused some delays. The entertainment could definitely be improved, as we often found ourselves heading out in the evenings instead. Meal times are quite structured, which may not suit everyone, and noise from other guests can sometimes be disruptive. Overall though, we’ve had a nice stay and would consider returning, but probably just for a short break.
