This place is every bit as breathtaking as the pictures show, and more. My wife and I had an enjoyable stay in a spacious, clean apartment with lovely minimal lines with a view to the ocean. The breakfast was freshly prepared with much care, even customized to our tastes... and it was absolutely delicious! Nothing like being welcomed by a warm freshly baked loaf of bread and local cheeses. Our hosts were the best part... they were warm, chatty (Adrianna is a fun person to talk to about the area) and very helpful with pointing us to local sights. We will definitely return to beautiful Azores and the Mosteiros Place!

This is the nicest place we have ever stayed. We stayed there for an entire week as we explored the island. The staff were warm, welcoming, and professional; the breakfasts were wonderful, full of fruit, yogurts, eggs, pastries, and more; the pool was great for all of us, expecially the kids; the views from the pool deck, and from our rooms and room deck, were incredible; the sunsets looking west over the Atlantic could not be beat. The room/condo itself was spacious, clean, and was cooled with mini-splits. We absolutely loved this place.

“A beautiful place to stay.”

Mosteiros Place was our second place to stay on our recent trip to Sao Miguel, before heading home. An extra bed was provided for our daughter in the living area, this was quite acceptable for us. Mosteiros Place was our second place to stay on our recent trip to Sao Miguel, before heading home. An extra bed was provided for our daughter in the living area, this was quite acceptable for us. The apartment was beautiful, clean, spacious and well appointed. Very private, quiet and relaxing. The view from the living area and bedroom was just stunning, allowing us to just gaze at the ocean and sunsets. A balcony to sit out on too. Huge bedroom and excellent bathroom. We asked for a kettle to supplement the coffee maker in our kitchen area, this was provided immediately. Breakfasts were ample and good choice. We left early on the final morning. The staff offered to provide food at the early hour for us.We declined as it was too early to eat, but the kind offer was there for us. The staff are what make this place special. So helpful and no rush, making you feel the most important person. All ladies that looked after us were super and so friendly. Car parking and easy access to the secure property. We found it easier to drive up the hill and turn around, then approach the entrance from the other direction due to the angle of the driveway, but this was no problem on the quiet road. Thank you for making us feel extremely welcome and giving us a relaxing end to our holiday.

When we arrived to the hotel, there wasn’t an easy easy way to open the gate and the woman at the front said she was put of keys to open the gate… we eventually got in as another guest with a key showed up. Upon checking in, we learned that her having no key meant we would have no key and so we were limited to places we could get to on foot for the duration of the day. We made the best of it and sat by the pool which had an amazing view— but they claim to have a snack bar open 4-11, but no one was there and we couldnt use it. Eventually after an hour or so, someone came back— but the place was incredibly understaffed and not being able to use the car we paid to rent to give us flexibility was very frustrating.
