Before I get to the actual Hotel I do want to mention the staff who are ALL super friendly and professional. We have stayed once before at this RIU hotel and enjoyed. Decided, now Hotel renovated and back open to book a short 5 night break. You notice the difference straight away with the much improved modern reception area. The bedrooms and bathrooms also nicely updated. Breakfast to me was excellent. Dinner very good - I do think they should incorporate a theme if not nightly but a few times a week e.g Mexican, Indian, Spanish etc. No problem getting a table in your preferable location. Sunbeds, of course there were the normal few people who were up super early securing the sunbeds they wanted. However, I would say there was still plenty of beds in good locations if you arrived later on in the morning. Evening entertainment was okay. The best was ABBA. The outdoor heaters in both dining and bar areas are excellent! A couple of things that we would have likes to see more of: It was disappointing that the Hotel are no longer letting you store hire bicycles in the area allocated for mobility scooters. There was plenty of space when we weer there. When queried with reception told that they are getting an outside cycle rack BUT this is still no good for safely securing or charging for an eBike. Disappointing for us. The Pool is VERY cold. It really put people off going in. The area for Pilates / stretch is just by the sunbeds which people are on. Would it better having an area in the upstairs bar / sunbed patio. Also, the classes like Aqua were not publicised on the App or anywhere I could see? If you a member of the RIU Class program it really is beneficial price wise so join. prices within the Hotel for drinks I thought were very good. Will we return ... yes

“Spring Holiday”

Had a very enjoyable 10 night stay in this recently refurbished hotel. Our sea facing room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Loved the big shower. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food also very good. Location is easy walk to marina.

“Review”

This hotel has just been refurbished. The fixtures and fittings are superb. The weather was still a bit chilly but excellent patio heaters were provided outside.

Having been to this hotel several times before we felt, although rooms were updated the overall feel of the hotel was still very similar to before. Having been to this hotel several times before we felt, although rooms were updated the overall feel of the hotel was still very similar to before. We have visited RIU Hotels for 30 years and been to many Palaces, but felt this one didn’t quite reach that standard. Unfortunately when we were there the rooms were undergoing a change of tv position. The placing of tv and drawers in the middle of the room was not good at all, limiting space in the room. However the noise from the drilling and banging to change things, went on for several days, without a word of apology from the management. Food was varied and very acceptable but not 5*. The day to day staff however were absolutely lovely. We couldn’t fault them at all. We also enjoyed the indoor pool when it was heated but it was too cold for us for a few days when there were heating problems.
