The setting of this hotel is just perfect, only a five minute stroll from beautiful Sanatnyi and set down long private driveway. The grounds and gardens and swimming pool area are just beautiful and really peaceful with lovely flowers. All the staff are really friendly knowledgeable attentive and nothing was too much bother. The breakfast buffet was absolutely perfect with fresh cooked and different foods every morning. We really enjoyed our time here and the room which was only a standard was absolutely perfect size with a fabulous shower. The only slight thing I would say is if you’re travelling as a couple you may want to find out if there is a large group booking at the same time. There was a large booking of at least 20 people clearly on a health retreat at the time we were there. This meant that the group en mass would commandeer the pool area for exercise sessions (with music) and swimming and would take breakfast all at the same time and being a large group the noise from them and the exercise music was a little intrusive. However, despite that we had an amazing time and would strongly recommend this place.

This is my favourite place in the world - it has everything you could possibly dream up and whether you come here as part of a group, as a couple, with a friend or solo - it is always the most perfect, peaceful and memorable stay! The rooms are gorgeous, the bathrooms beautiful, the facilities are amazing and the pool area and restaurant are stunning. The food is the best; beautifully prepared dishes which taste incredible and the breakfasts are simply the best I have every had; every morning a wide selection of freshly cooked and beautifully presented dishes to choose from! Waking up to the sun rising, yoga outside followed by breakfast ...for me it doesn't get better! This place is a dream come true.

We were looking for a place to celebrate not only my wife's birthday but also the first time away without kids for 24 years! A special occasion to celebrate indeed :) I started the search early in 2024 and had no plan to even come to Mallorca specifically, spreading a search from Italy to Greece to Spain. Cal Reiet happened to pop up in an article I was reading and looked like a lovely place in an area of the island we'd never visited before so we planned our trip around it. Your first impression of Cal Reiet is turning down a small gravel camino from sleepy Santanyi until you reach a truly stunning and beautifully restored 19th century manor house complete with a carefully tended walled gardens full of the vibrant purple, pink and red colours and sweet smells of Bougainvillea and Roses infusing the senses with the history and decades of effort it must have taken to create. The attention to detail is instantly recognised by the original house design as you can see right through to the gardens and 20m swimming pool from the front door, giving a wonderful sense of space and aesthetic. What makes Cal Reiet so good is not just the building though. As soon as you enter you are greeted by staff on the front desk who are to a person enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable. This is obviously a carefully selected and highly trained team, you can tell their level of dedication and professionalism just from watching their daily briefing sessions. The pool area is gorgeous with ample space even when we visited , even in the peak season month of July, we could always find a bed, lounger or chairs in sun or shade and often had the place to ourselves even. Rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and beds / pillows super comfy. Climate control is always comfortable You do feel like you are staying in a manor house rather than a hotel as you climb the elegant staircases and pass artworks and a huge antique map. We are big on food and my wife is a nutritionist so we often struggle, even at top hotels, with a standard breakfast offering but at Cal Reiet we found ourselves catered by like minded people. It is the only place we have stayed where we are able to create our perfect start to the day which is building a breakfast bowl from a base of different yoghurts (coconut my favourite) and adding chia pudding, seeds, nuts, honey, fruit and nut butters (all of which were home made, the pistachio being sublime) followed by some eggs on wonderful breads if we wanted to go to town. It is simply the best breakfast offering we have had anywhere. And the fact that you eat it in these wonderful gardens with sweet smells and flowers all around you makes it even better. Everyone we met on the front desk (Sarah, Jana, Elena) helped with restaurant reservations and beach suggestions and they really got them right. We had a wonderful birthday sunset dinner at Bar Blau in Portocolom and also a lovely lunch at Ca Sa Na - both all about fresh fish with stunning views. Our favourite beach became S'Amarador which is very close with stunning white sands and a turquoise sea, our tip - you need to get there early if you want a lounger (10am) but you can keep it all day and its €15.50 all day for two and a parasol instead of €50 up the coast.
