We just returned from 4 nights at “El Patio de Tita”. Very pleased with our stay and have both agreed we would stay again. The setting is the best feature. As soon as you enter the gate you are welcomed by beautiful landscaping and plants along the drive. Even the parking space is picturesque! (With good automatic lighting for evenings). It was too cold for us to use the pool but it was pleasant to sit in that area. Beach towels provided in apartment. We loved the hens roaming around too. We had the large apartment on the first floor which was very spacious and had a stunning view over the banana plantation below. The apartment was comfortable and had enough kitchen supplies for us to cook a few basic meals. The staff do an excellent job of cleaning. I thought the furniture and decoration was charming. Loved the tiles and mirrors. It felt like a very quiet and nostalgic holiday spot where you could really shut off. You’re removed from the hustle and bustle of town, but in reality only a ten minute drive away. There’s also a Lidl 7 min drive away which is convenient. Our critiques are (1) no iron in the apartment, so had to rewear some of our unwrinkled holiday clothing, (2) no vegan breakfast option which is disappointing as their breakfast trays look divine, (3) mould in the shower, which isn’t surprising as it’s an interior room with no ventilation (though otherwise the bathroom was very clean), and (4) could hear noise from adjoining apartment; although they thankfully weren’t a noisy party, we could hear their conversations and television clearly - a draught excluder at the adjoining door might be helpful to reduce this. The staff were friendly and helpful. Surprised to see so many poor reviews on here. Our experience was much more positive. We also felt it was excellent value. Would recommend this place.
