Have used this hotel many times and overall cannot fault it. The staff are very helpful and friendly the rooms of good size and clean It is in a quiet area and although near the airport very few planes could be heard especially in the dark hours. Breakfast is a simple English or Thai option but well cooked. It may be a modest establishment but for the price offers value for money Has parking and WiFi To get into the centre of Chiang Mai is just a short and cheap grab ride away.

We have spent there 5 nights and it definitely worth it. It costed c. GPB 20/day and I couldn't believe if it is real but it was. Our stay was really pleasant, the staff was nice and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. Due to the covid-19 situation, there wasn't breakfast but we were offered free tea, coffee and water and some cornflakes - to take them to our rooms in the morning. The hotel is c. 20-30 minutes walk from the Old Town as it is outside of it but it offers free bicycles and the distances became really small. The traffic is not that bad but you have to forget the 'British pedestrian attitude', you have to walk quickly through the crossings. The airport is really close but not a walking distance. We took a songthaew which costed 130 bahts - the receptionist ordered it to us. The train station is far (for the train to/from Bangkok), it took about 30 minutes with a songthaew, it costed 200 bahts. We had a really pleasant time there.

I stayed more than a week here and really liked that it was spacious and had what I needed to relax i.e a vanity area, kettle for tea, a fridge with 2 complimentary bottled water daily, sofa for reading, adequate sized cupboard, small table, small balcony etc. There is a 7 eleven nearby if you would like to try some salted egg or seaweed potato chips, vanilla cream rolls, thai iced tea etc Generally, the area was quiet and calm and I was lucky to have a view of some green space. It took me about 30-45 mins to walk to the Chiang Mai University Art centre, Suan Dok Gate and Chiang Mai historical museum. There were many places to eat cheaply around the area that were vegetarian friendly. I am a solo female traveller and felt safe to walk around in the daytime. I was always back by sunset so can't say what it was like at night. That meant that I did not go to the night market but I have no regrets. Overall, this was a trip for the enjoyment of local food and drinks more than sightseeing. Go around lunch time and there would plenty of food promotions for cheap that includes fresh juices. I enjoyed my trip and I was glad to have stayed with them. 100 baht breakfast includes a selection of hot meals (at least 2 could be made vegan - fried rice and fried noodles), some toasts and spreads, 3 different choice of cereals, some vegetables. I think it's worth it given the price. It took me longer than 90 mins to walk to the airport when I could have reached there in 50 mins due the road closure by the army.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a pleasant experience. Staff were always helpful and extremely friendly. We had a basic double room which has all you need. We did discover a few ants in the toilet which we reported and was attended to straight away. They didn’t return after this. I had breakfast one morning. Was only 100 baht and was nice enough. Some egg and ham. Choice of cereals and fruits on top. The hotel really stepped up when I left my GoPro up Doi Suthep. After arriving back from the trip I asked the hotel if they were able to assist with this. The receptionist called the temple straight away and luckily it had been handed in. They also sourced a taxi for us to go and retrieve it. Extra brownie points for this. Overall nice hotel with good staff at a good price for what it is.
