Excellent short stay here. We are city hopping through Thailand and had 3 very comfortable nights here at the Ibis Styles chiang mai. Warmly welcomed by the staff, they were all super friendly, efficient and helpful. It's slightly further out of town nearer the university but this was what we wanted for the Old Town has become a bit touristy for us unfortunately, a victim of its own success. We were in great walking distance of Amazing bars and restaurants, temples, the city gates, the reservoir and some stunning scenery. The beds are soft and comfortable, the showers are excellent pressure and the breakfast is stunning. Huge choice of Thai and western food and plentiful fruit. The infinity pool is a treat and the mountain view backdrop is stunning. Wouldn't hesitate in returning and staying. Highly recommend!

I recently returned to ibis Styles Chiang Mai after some time away and was very pleased with my stay. I booked a 3-day, 2-night trip without any discount code, and the total cost was THB 1,754 — roughly THB 85x per room per night, which is great value. As an Accor Platinum member, I had initially reserved standard rooms, but the hotel kindly upgraded all three rooms to superior rooms in Building 2. The upgrade also included breakfast for all rooms, which was much appreciated. Each room came with a small welcome set that included local treats like candy, crispy rice snacks, and chewy caramel — a thoughtful and charming touch. Welcome drinks could be redeemed at the hotel’s jazz bar, Mellow Ship, located right in front of the property. Live music in the evenings added a nice vibe, and Accor Plus discounts were applicable at the bar, which made it even better. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of choices and was well presented. Staff throughout the stay were friendly, courteous, and helpful. They explained the benefits clearly and granted a late check-out upon request with no hassle. Food at Mellow Ship was served quickly and came in large portions — definitely satisfying. For those who enjoy early mornings, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Chiang Mai University area, where you can experience daily almsgiving before 7 AM or go for a jog around the campus. Water pressure in the bathroom was strong and hot water was consistent, which made for a comfortable shower experience. That said, the rooms are beginning to show some signs of wear and tear, and those located near the main road may experience noticeable traffic noise. However, considering the price — which is on par with budget hotels — I found the stay to be excellent value overall. Highly recommended for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and solid service at an affordable rate.

“Noisy , clean , Accor hotel”

i usually like Ibis Styles . This one was very noisy due to airplane flight path and busy highway . Sometimes even with my hotel provided earplugs and the a/c running it was too noisy . it's too far from center of town. There were not enough electrical outlets & no usb port. i usually like Ibis Styles . This one was very noisy due to airplane flight path and busy highway . Sometimes even with my hotel provided earplugs and the a/c running it was too noisy . it's too far from center of town. There were not enough electrical outlets & no usb port. The bed was super hard.Wifi was adequate . All the employees were professional and hard working. I got a plate of fresh fruit to welcome me. The room had a kettle, safe, microwave , and a big refrigerator. the hotel and my room was very clean . There was a 7/11 convenience store a 2 minute walk away .
