Movenpick Asara Resort Hua Hin Our arrival at reception at the Movenpick Asara resort was very welcoming with both Dream and Nook at reception doing everything they could to make us feel welcome. In fact every member of the team who work at this very peaceful resort went out of their way to look after us. We felt very spoilt. We had opted for a villa with private pool as it was on a red hot special, which proved to be a very good choice for us, arriving as we did in the hot season in Thailand. Our villa was wonderfully comfortable with all we could possibly want or need on hand. The pool was perfect! The bathroom was spacious and bed very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. The restaurants provide an excellent choice of options in their menus, catering for both Western and Asian tastes. We loved the Pad Thai dinners at both the Baan Dum beachfront seafood and Kampu restaurants, during our five day stay. The happy hour at the Ocean Bar each evening along with chocolate hour each afternoon, meant we were never hungry! Joey, the guest relations manager, was extremely proactive, making sure all guests at meal times were well looked after. My wife, Elizabeth, being a coeliac, was particularly well catered for with many gluten free options available. We were very impressed! To all the staff who we were fortunate to meet, Miew, Junee, Wee, Tony, James, Cindy and Pling, Thank you! To those whose names we did not get, particularly the team who looked after the pool, keeping it free of leaves and the wonderful housekeepers, who serviced our villa, thank you! We were only a ten minute drive by Grab taxi, into the centre of Hua Hin, which was so easy to reach and so inexpensive at less than 150 Baht each way. Being in the oasis of the resort away from the centre of Hua Hin, made for a very restful stay. There is also a shuttle bus provided freely by the hotel a couple of times a day. A large supermarket is just five minutes walk away, along with a 7 Eleven and excellent laundry also easy walking from the hotel. The Movenpick Asara, proved to be the perfect choice for us and we loved every moment of our stay. If you choose to stay in any other of the other room options, the fabulous larger pools within the resort are perfect! Surrounded by palm trees, lots of lounges and close to all accommodation options. If we were to return to this peaceful part of Thailand again, we would not hesitate to stay at the Movenpick!

We recently spent a luxurious week at Movenpick Asara Resort as part of a small group of friends enjoying a golfing holiday. Put simply 'we loved it'. The individual villa's were spacious and very well appointed. The private pool is a real bonus. The service throughout our stay was 10/10, especially the restaurant and bar staff and singling out Joey (guest relations) Also great to see the GM most mornings in the restaurant. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel... it's well located, set in tranquil gardens, great customer service and very reasonably priced. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable!

The Mövenpick is a resort with the difference being with the layout and garden environment one of its highlights. We travelled with luxury escape travel in a package deal I would say was of value our only concern was the room although very presentable the location of the room at the far end rear of property,room 222 had road noise but it was ok overall, menu selection with escape was what they call half board limited range of menu if you are only staying for 5-7 days then it’s ok, the full board menu looked very impressive and of comparable value to other hotels, longer stays you may wish to eat out Hua Hin has some respectable restaurants, don’t get me wrong the food was good and well presented. Overall Mövenpick was a very relaxing place to visit with very attentive staff with welcoming smiles.
