Great hotel in a great location. The rooms are like cabins in the wood, good size and very clean. The location is ideal for visiting the Bridge, the war cemetery and railway museum. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a good selection for breakfast. (Oriental and western) The pool area is very nice and quiet. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

This small, friendly, welcoming, riverside hotel a mere 500 meters from the River Kwai Bridge (which can be seen from the breakfast veranda of the hotel) is a great little boutique hotel to base your historical visit from. The staff are welcoming, helpful, friendly & keen to assist in every regard during one’s stay. The public areas are neat, tidy, clean & well kept. The brand new rooms are in a separate block nearer the main road & that building is termed as “River Kwai Bridge Resort 2.” Separate from River Kwai Bridge Resort semi-new block forward of that building & separate to the original bungalow which are closest to the river itself. All accommodation blocks have their own comforts, convenience & the bungalow a great deal of charm. We selected the middle building with second newest rooms which were very modern well designed, comfortable firm beds, decent linen, nice white towels, good AC, large TV & big windows with sliding doors onto the patio, good WiFi & a decent shower & loo. All up a great & comfortable stay. The pool is refreshing, private & gets the sun too. A nice touch is the 24/7 complimentary coffees from an automated-machine which actually tastes very good all things considered. Plenty of secure parking & a very short walk into town & to the historical WW2 bridge! Highly recommend this establishment to base your military historical stay at. Very easy to get around from & very comfortable. NOTE when taking the train alight at Saphan Kwae Yai Station! So the station right at the River Kwai Bridge. NOT Kanchanaburi Station!

“Peaceful and Great Value for Money Hotel!”

Lovely peaceful hotel in central Kanchanaburi right by the River Kwai. The hotel is very green and also has a small swimming pool! Only the breakfast was a little disappointing and of the staff had a poor attitude, otherwise all good. Check out my full YouTube video review at G Light Travels!

Very cozy hotel by the river Kwai. There are bungalows and a bigger newer apartment building. Fresh rooms with central air conditioning so climate control was very nice. The breakfast buffet is right by the river so you get a beatiful breakfast view every morning. The breakfast buffe is nice with both thai and western dishes. It takes about 5-8 minutes to walk to the bridge of river kwai. There is a museum close by the bridge. The pool is nice with a nice sun roof by the side.
