LK Mantra Pura Resort Pattaya gave us an authentic and real Thai Experience during our stay in Pattaya’s Songkran Festival last April 19. We’ve been to Pattaya a lot of times and tried several hotels and places but this time around is quite special. We are planning to celebrate and experience Songkran Festival in Pattaya, a week after Bangkok’s festival. Pattaya’s Songkran is after because it follows the flow of Chao Praya river into the Gulf of Thailand. Since we expect some Water splashing for 2 days, we were looking for a place in the city center where we don’t have to worry getting wet and about the traffic - in short we can just walk in and out of our hotels. And another factor is affordability of course, we need a place that fits our budget. Luckily we found one via Agoda - LK Mantra Pura Resort Pattaya just 10 mins walk from Terminal 21 mall. We booked a standard twin room for just 89 SGD for 2 nights with breakfast nothing could match this affordable rate!!! And we know hotel rooms in Thailand are very big and spacious and their breakfast absolutely delicious!!! The place is a classic, heritage Thai style hotel maintained through times and updated to modernity. They have free parking space and the way they designed their lobby is truly an authentic Thai resort - its design and aesthetics. They have a big spacious center pool surrounded by lush garden, pool bar in the middle and pool villas. The lobby has both indoor and outdoor concept which makes it really unique - not too big but enough to welcome you and attend to your needs. They have several building blocks connected to each other and we were on the 2nd block from the left side of the pool area. Checkin was at 2 pm but it was fast and smooth. Our room was located at the 4F corner room and has a view of the streets outside. Upon entering, it exceeded our expectations - very clean, big, spacious and tidy. We initially booked a separate twin bed, but the hotel is very accommodating enough to combine the beds together without even asking us - they already know hehe. With a big room at 23 sqm nothing could get better than this!!! We requested for extra pillows which they obliged another big plus for us. Beds, Pillows and Mattresses are clean comfy and relaxing. Airconditioning is centralized and easy to manage. Toilet is by the street so we have fresh air from outside. Water pressure is strong and heating works perfectly. The shower have rain fall option and they provide toiletries and body wash shampoo with clean towels. They provide daily housekeeping and bottled waters. They have a balcony which is another plus because we can dry our wet clothes. TV has both local and cable cbannels and internet is fast. They have a big table and wardrobe with lots of compartments and safety lock another plus for us!!! The power outlets are located on the Table area and the mini fridge is quite big. Lighting in the room is white and just like the overall concept of the hotel - it maintained Thai design with modern vibes. We tried to swim at their central pool and it was massive!!! I loved the idea of islands and bars and lots of Calachuchi trees covering the different area of the pool because it covers the intense sunlight and heat of Thai summer and gives us shades!!! The flowers of Calachuchi trees give a nice powdery floral scent. The pool bar is amazingly cool another perfect place to shade from the sun it was amazing cool inside of it. We didn’t try the gym but definitely next time first impressions it was also big and lots of equipment. For their breakfast, it was also quite good with lots of Thai, Asian and Western choices. I loved the Thai pork noodles, Eggs, Coffee, Juice and Fruits!!! The dining area is also big and spacious. We did have an amazing and delicious experience at their breakfast choices keep it up!!! Kudos to the staff of LK Mantra Pura resort as well for being friendly, helpful and accommodating to all our needs they also speak with Good English. Keep up the Exceptional work LK Mantra Pura Pattaya resort looking forward to book your place again!!!
