A fantastic hotel with wonderful staff and a beautiful atmosphere! We had the great pleasure of staying at Rayong Resort Hotel in Ban Phe for six nights – and what an experience it was! Check-in and service At check-in, we were warmly welcomed by an incredibly friendly receptionist who let us choose the type of room we wanted. Since the season was over, there were plenty of options – from double beds to king-size and twin-size rooms. We chose a room with a fantastic view of both the pool and the sea, and we couldn’t have been happier. The room and cleanliness The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff arrived early every day, and when we returned from breakfast, everything was always fresh and tidy. Once, we had an issue with our air conditioning, but the hotel handled it quickly and smoothly. We were immediately offered a room change, and by the next day, technicians had repaired the system. Fantastic service! Food and staff The restaurant staff was incredibly sweet and did everything they could to make sure we had the best possible experience. By the end of our stay, they even knew exactly what we wanted for breakfast! It felt personal and caring in a way that is rarely experienced. Atmosphere and surroundings The entire hotel atmosphere was calm and relaxing. It’s a large hotel with several buildings and spacious areas. One of the highlights was the 380-meter-long pier, where we walked and fed the fish with bread – a truly memorable experience! The only downside was that the shoreline could be a bit dirty, but this was outweighed by the fantastic environment within the hotel grounds. The beach was easily accessible with stairs leading down, and it was set in a beautiful garden area with scattered sun loungers. Pools and activities The hotel has three different pools – a children’s pool, a shallower pool, and a large, deep pool where you could dive and swim freely. The pool area was always clean and well-maintained, and we absolutely loved spending time there. Extra experiences I was also very curious about the monkeys in the area, and the hotel guard helped me keep an eye out for them every day. He was always cheerful and engaging, and in the end, I was lucky enough to see a monkey! Summary I have rarely enjoyed a hotel so much that I didn’t even want to go home – but this was one of those places! Everything from the staff to the atmosphere and service made this an unforgettable experience. If I ever return to Thailand, I will definitely stay here again! Rating: 5/5 – Highly recommended!
