My husband broke his ankle two days before we went to Turkey so we were concerned that the hotel wouldn’t be able to cater for his requirements. We need not have worried. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was consistently to a good standard with lots of variety. This was perfect as there were 8 in our party with ages ranging from 14-74 so everyone was happy with the quality and quantity of food. Because my husband was unable to join us on a couple of day trips the staff ensured he was looked after – getting him drinks, helping him at meal times etc. I cannot express enough how helpful and welcoming the staff were. They made what could have been a tricky situation so much easier. The rooms were clean with ample space but try and get a balcony that overlooks the sea as the views are beautiful. We would recommend taking a boat trip and the jeep safari is a must. Young families would love it - especially the water fight!

Great hotel, excellent location for Ephesus.. Great style with views of sea from superior rooms, restaurants and pools Rooms are true to description and all staff are kind and attentive. Great hotel, excellent location for Ephesus.. Great style with views of sea from superior rooms, restaurants and pools Rooms are true to description and all staff are kind and attentive. There are 3 speciality restaurants which are very good with attentive staff and good food. Daytime entertainment is excellent with enthusiastic animation team.. but then you get to evening entertainment…forget what the hotel / holiday companies say.. “live music every day”.. I am afraid not! Not even poor live music. Wednesday had Mr Universe for 25 minutes, Thursday had records of allegedly various countries music which to be fair engaged quite a few people dancing & then today we have Karaoke. I do not like misrepresentation. Hence 3 stars, could easily be more.

Labranda Princess Gulluk is located on top of a small mountain, where one can observe the small fishing town below. The view is breathtaking from the hotel. If you are lucky, you might also get a room with this view, or you can be unlucky and get a view facing right into a mountain. The rooms are decent size with everything you need. The towels are changed daily and the bed is made. If you are lucky, you might get a small balcony for your room. The food was a mixed pleasure. It's your typical all-inclusive food where sometimes you are lucky (kebab) and other times not (liver). They fortunately have a lot of different dishes, so you are almost sure to find something you like. The same with the deserts. One thing we would like to complain about is the snackbar. The snackbar consisted of a local woman coming to make pancakes with a small heater. We ordered four pancakes and it took almost 45 minutes. She also let her friends get priority over the other guests, so they got pancakes first. If you wanted something else, you had to descend of a small mountain to reach their "beach", where you could get a burger, tho we never did that. The waiters were very nice. We were pleased with their service and sometimes they even brought us soda without asking. Make sure to tip them, if you feel they are doing a good job, they appreciated it a lot. The people in the reception were close to useless for anything unrelated to booking rooms. We asked if the town had any markets and the reception people had no idea. They excused themselves by saying they didn't live in Gulluk, so they wouldn't know.
