“Friends and family lunch”

Spectacular place, terrace and restaurant . The restaurant is not ad the level of the hotel Good menu and price but the kitchen doesn’t follow in quality cooking. Nevertheless we will keep trying and talking with the cook.

I spent two mid-week nights over there. A friend and I went for a short ski trip form Barcelona. We had booked that hotel trough one of those internet platforms where you can book the accommodation plus the ski passes. I guess it's a bit cheaper like this. Maybe that's why we got a rather small room. I didn't actually see the rest, but based on the emergency map placed in the room, we could compare the sizes according to that map, and we weren't the luckiest ones... We didn't complain though. Two blokes wouldn't really care much about that. So, the room was a bit small, but good enough. The beds, really comfy and the bathroom clean and spacey enough. The furniture is rustic style which matches with the scenery. The reception was taken care by a gentleman who brief us after pulling some questions. There is a indoor parking if you need and a ski look. The hotel has a small indoor pool with jacuzzy, a couple of sauna facilities (one was not operative...) and massage is available upon request. There was a low booking so the bar was rather quiet during the evening, but it was week day and not the best snow reports so it was very quiet. Maybe a small pool table or alike would cheer up the lone tourists like us. The restaurant was excellent. We had two breakfast and one dinner. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and with a good choice of products. The dinner was really good. Both in quality and quantity. The staff who served us in the restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. Th same applies to the room girls who helped us a couple of times providing robes and some other explanations to find our bearings inside the corridors. Overall a positive experience.

“Nice situation”

We stayed there for 3 nights and were booked on half board.In our opinion the food options were not very exciting and the choice is limited. We had a nice room with a small terrace overlooking the valley.The situation is good for hiking and visiting the lakes area. The staff were friendly and helpf… more

We stayed there for 3 nights and were booked on half board.In our opinion the food options were not very exciting and the choice is limited. We had a nice room with a small terrace overlooking the valley.The situation is good for hiking and visiting the lakes area. The staff were friendly and helpful. As there were very few visitors at the hotel when we were there we had the spa to ourselves.

“Beautiful & amazing service... not good for veggies”

Came here for a quick getaway to ski - booked with secret escapes & got a great deal. The front desk were very helpful as soon as we arrived (they speak mainly Catalan or Spanish so definitely knowing some phrases will help you as they do not know very much if any English). We had a double room with ensuite which was lovely - large bed which is very uncommon in Europe so I loved that! I had previously emailed asking about a shuttle service which the hotel confirmed they ran to the resort - however this shuttle when we got there apparently only ran to one resort and we had to get 2 buses (costing 4,20€ each every day) to the one we could actually ski in. The gentleman on the front desk was very helpful in his information however and perhaps the lack of organisation was down to secret escapes? Either way there was us and another couple that were not much amused on the first day. We booked half board so had breakfast and dinner every day. I have an allergy to nuts and fish - which I hadn't been able to highlight previous to our arrival. The breakfast meats and cheeses were covered in walnuts and I was left with some questionable sausages, fat greasy bacon or cold greasy eggs and some fruit (which was nice and fresh). Breakfast says it is served from 0800-1000, however we got down there at not much past 0830/0900 every morning and everything was cold or there was nothing left. The evening meal was a choice of three for starter main and dessert. There was about 2 veggie options all week and absolutely nothing vegan. I couldnt have anything the first night as they put nuts in the beef stew and the other two options were fish - the chef made me an allbeit nice plate of vegetables with soy sauce it was pretty lacking in substance for a long day of travelling. We did however tell him about my allergies and after that he was prepared and helped a lot - I was fed well the rest of the trip. The French onion soup was in particular delicious! He also very kindly made sure the plates for breakfast had no nuts on after I pointed it out to him the next morning. Couldn't fault there service, just the choice in food was sometimes not great and if you got potatoes you got no veg and if you got veg you got no potatoes. Overall was an okay stay - drinks average but its more expensive to have a glass of coke than a beer as my partner pointed out. Bar was extremely quiet. Spa was nice!!

Room is nice and clean but it is definitely not a 4 star hotel, french view. No air conditioning but is not a heavy problem. Room is nice and clean but it is definitely not a 4 star hotel, french view. No air conditioning but is not a heavy problem. Window has to be opened during the day but we had heavy public road work in the street the all day long very noisy. Location is on a passant road which could be a problem when you go in mountains Spa is very small and is expensive (12 €/day) and doesn't worth for the price. Some activities are not working. Staff reception is just polite. Waiters are incredibly nice and charming people. Food at restaurant is expensive. Small portions but often food is tasty, depending on days. The hotel really takes care about covid procedures. Waiters at breakfast time serve you. Dinner is at table service. Mask is obligatory everywhere and majority of people respect but not all. Acceptable stay to summarise
