“The pickles were even tastier than our home made.”
During our 5 week road trip in a recently restored classic car we both agree the Golden Grain was the best by a few country miles. We will book to ensure a room next time.

“Friendly and so clean”
We chose it due to the number of reviews saying how clean it was ..and it really was spotlessly clean!! It also had everything you'd need, including a toaster, and a very comfortable bed. Sheets so clean they were crispy.Owner was super friendly and helpful . Would recommend this to anyone.

“Great overnight stay”
Really big room - excellent for a family group. We were travelling with infirm, elderly parents. Well set up for these needs.

It was a very pleasant stay . The hotel was very clean. We were upgraded free of charge to a very big room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again and close to many food amenities within walking distance. It was easy to find and caterer's for our needs

“AVERAGE”
Average to good in most. There was 12 noticed signs in the room. Seat and desk was uncomfortable. Lights inadequate and varying kelvin temperature. Quiet. Needs tidy up.
