We stayed in the disabled room at this family run B&B for the King Valley La Dolce Vita weekend festival, with its close proximity to Brown brothers (it is walkable to there) and Oxley wineries. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The bedroom is in a little alcove with a lounge area and a table for two to one side. The also have a kitchen nook near the front door with microwave over, kettle and some cutlery, glasses, cups and plates. The outdoor setting to the rear is great to relax in with a glass of wine, as you look towards the mountains in the distance across the open paddocks with their passing cows. They include little touches like free bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge, as well as chocolates and muscat to sample in your room along with tea and coffee items. The tv is well positioned and can be seen in the bedroom or lounge with a swivel of the wall bracket. The breakfast timing is set by you on the order you place, and the menu offering is very reasonable including continental and hot breakfast offerings and even an open option you are free to discuss with your hosts Denise and Peter. We also pre booked a dinner meal with them and were provided with a great meal of salads and various meats including prawns, chicken, pork, kransky and steak at a reasonable price to enjoy on the outdoor front patio dining area with our friends. From a disability perspective the doorways are all wide with flat entry from the front door into the room and bathroom. There is plenty of room for a walker or wheelchair beside the bed and in the bathroom the floor is flat and of a non-slip surface and a shower stool is supplied to use in the open handheld shower. There is a mat that is easily moved in front of the mirror and there are extra towels in the bathroom as needed. The bathroom is heated by heater lights that operate separately on either 2 or 4 globe setting whilst the accommodation includes a reverse cycle air conditioner/heater as needed in the central area of the unit. The hosts were also agreeable to a later check out at no charge when we enquired of same the night before. We cannot recommend this place highly enough which is also reasonably priced for the area.

We last stayed here in 2018 and was pleased that the same high standards were upheld in 2025. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. I like the way the bedroom is in a little alcove and then a lounge area with a table for two. The little outdoor setting is great to relax in with a glass of wine. The little touches like chocolates, muscat samples in your room, contintental part of your breakfast served first then hot breakfast, bottle water in fridge, tv placed so can be seen in bedroom or lounge all add to the experience. The breakfasts are really tasty with an excellent menu served at a time to suit you. Denise and Peter are exceptional hosts willing to help out but not intrusive. The B&B was pretty well full but this did not stop the exceptional service and it was quiet. A good spot that we will return to.
