Best Place! Huge thank you to Rob and his wonderful team for making our stay so enjoyable. Your staff were so informative, your Karri on Bar was the best! Great to seat on the deck with the fire going and watch the sunset! Rooms were amazing! So clean, so warm and with everything we need! Thank you for the late checkout! Such a special part of the world. We will be back! Wineries, Tea Rooms and Hikes were fantastic! Highly recommend and this is the place to stay for with families, friends, couples or on your own!!!

Myself and 3 other lovely ladies look for somewhere different to have coffee and cake once a month. This month we chose Karribank. We had a wonderful drive out from Albany taking in the lush green countryside backdropped by the Stirling and Porongrup Ranges. It’s winter so it was cold outside. When we arrived at Karribank, where none of us had been before, we got a really pleasant surprise, it was great to see a setting like this going ahead in uncertain times. The owners have done so much work and have many amazing ideas in place, we wish them well. There were chalet style accommodation buildings dotted about, an animal enclosure with the most gorgeous highland cattle calf’s frolicking about and a children’s playground. We entered the bar area to order, meals could be had in the cafe/bar, in the formal restaurant or outside. We chose the very cosy room where we had entered with log fires burning at each end of the room. A couple of our group are gluten intolerant so we had called ahead of time to ensure options were available, they were, and they were delicious, one of our group chose a sausage roll, they were enormous. Coffee and tea we also enjoyed in stylish cups and mugs and quaint milk jugs. There are steps at the front leading to the reception /dining area, but for those unable to do steps, there is a flat entrance but driving around to the back. We had a great time, setting and service very pleasant. I’m sure we will be back.

Came in for lunch and fell in love with the place. Lunch food is very good pub grub in an absolutely stunning property. There's room and animals for the kids, well priced local beer and wine for the adults. There's also a full dining room which is very nice looking. The passion and enthusiasm of everyone we met here is amazing. This is a work in progress right now. Rob, the owner ran us through the future plans and this area will be transformed for the best. Next time we intend to take a room for the night. Would be a great place for a few couples friends to stay.

“stay on way to Albany.”

Lovely accomodation. We stayed in one of the cabins at the top of the hill. Nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Loved that it still had the original old charm buildings. Has a great playground and animals for the children. Also has a cafe and a tavern. The food was great. Close to castle rock.
