“Stop at the Settlers House in York”
We had a great lunch today at the Settlers House in York. Top notch service and smiles from bar manager Jenee and the locals. Our meals were delicious, came out in record time, and drinks were icy cold. Do yourselves a favour and drop in next time you are travelling through York. PS - don't bot… more

“So enjoyable!!”
Had a truly fantastic experience thanks to Tracy & The Team … also enjoyed a most succulent evening meal in the restaurant with particular reference to Natalie who proved the perfect “mine host” and most learned history buff on the House and district. Sublime!! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Richard & Noeleen

“Historic hotel in York”
We stayed for 2 nights recently and really enjoyed our stay. Well equipped King Spa room, very comfortable king sized bed and good bathroom ( plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower). The staff were lovely and the food was good- not fancy but good value and served promptly. York … more

“Two nights in York”
Staff were friendly and efficient, even though they were super busy. Staff member still came to my room to try fix air con issue. But you need to service air cons regularly as it was very cold in York and room was cold, thank goodness for little heater.
