Due to the recent renovation, the hotel rooms are all new and clean. All in Red hotel residents have direct underground access to the Sonnentherme Lutzmannsburg Thermal Spa facilities but at an extra cost unless of course one pay's for the all inclusive package. The food is very good and with lots of choices to choose from and a place for kids to play in restaurant. There is free babysitting services, an indoor and outdoor pool, large play ground and outdoor mini golf. Check-in was very fast. Receptionist took time explaining all about the hotel and the amenities available as a first timer with them. The room was spacious and clean. Paid for the all in kulinarium package so enjoyed breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner but had to pay for drinks extra.

“Easter long weekend”

Before I booked this hotel I searched for reviews. To be honest I wasn't quite sure about whether to go or not to go. Before I booked this hotel I searched for reviews. To be honest I wasn't quite sure about whether to go or not to go. Most of reviews referred to poor customer services whether at the hotel restaurant or other hotel staff. Also some friends said I should not expect a lot from this 4* accomodation. I decided to give it a chance. After three nights spent I must say it met all our expectations. There's no 'wow' effect you may expect but things work well. Most of restaurant staff are Hungarians from neighbourhood but they are fluent in German and English, too. Meals are very tasty and you get a variety at the salad bar, you get a choice of meat and your children shoul be able to pick their favourite (unless they are spoilt). You have a choice of four packages from accomodation only through two full board options (differ by drinks or no drinks included) to the all-in-package including full access to the nearby Sonnentherme aquapark/water park (access through an undergroung passage tunnel, so no need to walk outdoor, just put your bathrobe on and go). Of course, if you do not have the all inclusive package, you can get the access to the aquapark at discount prices at the hotel reception (better price option than at the aquapark). There's a decent size playground in front of the hotel with outdoor jungle gym, mini golf and you can rent the hotel bike. Inside you find a small swimming pool (big enough for your children to spend an hour or two), and a small sauna world. The wellness can be completed with massages (extra charges apply). In conclusion, this hotel is one worth trying and then you can decide whether you will come back or you will try one of other four in the area (all others with same easy access to the local aquapark). We certainly will come back.

“Looks a bit spartan”

The rooms are ok but they look spartan. There is no nice decoration in the room, also no mirror on the toilet.Food is good, was surprised about that. It's also not that cheap. Stuff is friendly and helpful.
