From check in to check out the whole experience was brilliant! Aimed at the adult, rather than a family market, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings. Food is amazing and the spa treatments are fantastic. The public and hotel guest area pools are roomy and there is even a clothing optional area for adults. I would not recommend this venue if you do not speak German as their English is very limited but, this makes the whole experience better for our family.

Did not spent a holiday for almost two years (reason wellknown start with "C") we decided to take at least a weekend break. Offer for 4 nights sounded reasonable, so there we went. As we had some difficulties to arrive in time for dinner it was arranged to find some cold spread at the room which turned out to be enough for a family. Check in was smooth, Green Pass was checked, no need to show your CC for approval - it should be mentioned that no down payment during reservation was demanded! Room Key is your pass too for both spa`s (hotel and public), no extra charge for the public spa!, and is also used to book your drinks and more to your room bill. We only went to the spa of the hotel which we found more than sufficent for us. Sauna`s, two whirl pools with hot thermal water, swimming pool, swimming pond (summer only), different rest and relaxion rooms, nude area and coffee shop at your disposal. Due to certain restrictions again due to "C" the bar had to close at 22:00h, somehow good for your liver and wallet. Dinner and breakfast was available at two timetables and had to be arranged in advance. For both meals the varieties and taste was more than satisfactory. We fancied a certain product and reception arranged for us to purchase this product direct from the suppliers with no extra charge - thank you! Our room was ground floor, very quiet. Televison with plenty channels (only the sound of the system was not up to the standard), of course a fridge and safe was available, plenty plug sockets to recharge all you gadgets at once. Extra Charge is demanded to park your car either in a car port or in the underground parking, although compared with other places the price is in my point of view reasonable (car port was € 6,00 a night) Check out was a smooth as check in, it should be mentioned that drinks in the bar and coffee shop are almost the price you will find at any local restaurant - practically no price premium for a 4 * hotel. I joined a cycling camp and this hotel was our meeting point. The reservation was made directly with the hotel via phone and we got a good price for the room and half board. They informed as about the covid measurements in the hotel in advance which were easy to follow. The hotel room was facing the back side to the woods which was perfect as not too hot and really quiet. The room was really thought through as we had so many option to put our cycling cloths, the wet swim suits, towles etc to dry. Compare to other spa hotels wher you struggle to hang your stuff at all The only minus point was the bed. The mattress was too hard and the small long pillow too uncomfy. We have a medium hard matress at home but it was hard to fall asleep.That´s why only 4 from 5 points. We had one dietary request , mentioned it already at the booking , and we were catered for . Breakfast and dinner was really good , except that I didnt like the coffee , but I am very picky here and all the waiters really attentive. We used the hotel and the normal spa . The small lake was great and really helped to cool down,. The sport pool was surpringly really warm, that was to hot for anyone who really want to swim. Save energy and please lower the temperature there especially in the hot days. All in all we had 4 great days there and looking to come back next week.

First the positive. Pleasant location amidst rolling hills with cornfields, vineyards,orchards and clusters of thick woodland. Walking distance to the quaint village of BadWaltersdorf. Hotel is fortunately connected to the public thermal facilites which are great. Hotel restaurant is very good and the service is excellent. Reception staff are helpful. Hotel pool and thermal facilities inadequate with so many visitors in the peak season. Main drawback is the room. Very basic furniture, very few amenities, tiny balcony with partial view of the garden. Not at all a four star room. I would consider another stay but only in the off season and after checking out available rooms.
