Very charming hotel managed with attention to detail and undoubtedly focus of clients. The dinner was beautifully orchestrated by the excellent know how and creativity of their Michelin star chef-cook, the choice of wines and the professionalism of their staff. Highly recommended to demanding foodie lovers. The town of St. Vith is not to be missed.

This hotel is right in the centre of the town. We were able to book a night's stay with meal served in our room. The staff were very friendly and explained everything about the current regulations. The room was large and well decorated, and very comfortable. The meal was excellent in all respects, and also the breakfast the following morning. The hotel has its own parking but there is free parking within a very short walk. The only slight downside was that our room was on the main street and there was some traffic noise early in the morning. Overall though this was a very pleasant stay even under the unusual conditions.

For the last 15 years we have treated ourselves to a Michelin starred restaurant twice a year, for birthdays, and chose this one because we were within an afternoons drive and it was available. I made the mistake of taking the QLUB (or some such lettering) package deal of 5 course meal and room for 300 euros. I mistakenly thought that this would be the normal 5 course 'prestige' menu that is advertised but it's actually a slightly lower level of menu including, I think, some of the lunchtime dishes. The result was that I felt slightly second class, 300 down (without drinks, add another 100 for that) but the other diners seemed to be getting a more interesting series of plates delivered. One of my favourite things is the little mouthfuls one gets between courses (amuse bouches), and the couple of these we had before the meal were pleasent, but during there was no 'little treat' taste, which seemed mean. Although we sat down last when we left 2 hours later other tables that had been seated before were still going on extra little desserts, it sounds silly (unless you've done a few star restaurants) but at this level of dining we felt that the menu was rushed, we weren't being 'treated' we were being 'served'. The staff were lovely, professional, the rooms immaculately clean, but you go to a place like this to be surprised by a chef who is inventive and cooks with personality. So my advice, on the night we stayed we could have had the room for 129 euro and the proper menu (wagu beef and wasabi served by the head chef, not the warmed smoked chicken on pea puree that we got) for 95 euros, so 319 euro for the full experience, I stupidly saved 20 euros on the package and it pretty much ruined it for me. So pay the full amount and get the full experience. This is a fine restaurant and it serves great food but if you come here once in your life (as I will) you want to make sure that you have the best of it. When we asked ourselves afterwards what the best dish was it was a espresso cup of broth served pre dinner and the petit fours served with coffee, everything in between was very good, but not memorable (one of the 5 dishes was 5 small pieces of cheese, another was a delightful but 'had it a hundred times' mixed Berry tart.

Decent clean room and large bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor. A somewhat mystifying large round glass table occupied most of the space in Room 1. Some late evening noise from the terrace of the bar across the street but not to lose sleep over. Varied breakfast on the terrace served “à table” rather than as a buffet in these Corona-times. Very, very friendly service.
