“Good but not great”

20 min walking away from the main square of Coroico and incredible view. 20 min walking away from the main square of Coroico and incredible view. Many imprecisions (baits) in the online description, from the details of the breakfast (it should have been a buffet, but that is only true when there are over 30 people and for Sundays) to the mediocre jacuzzi. The staff was great, they were kind and always available. A lot of untapped potential, but still a good experience. Some young drunk people for the weekend doing a lot of noise at night, even if the rules of the hotel said “silence from 23 pm to 7 am” (probably not something that is usual, but what happened during our stay).

“Needs some TLC but nice spot”

We were married at the Viejo Molino almost ten years ago. It is a beautiful spot, great views and has am amazing pool! Family rooms are great. Food is okay. But the hotel could do with some investment, a lick of paint, some fixing up, a decent wifi and proper cable connection, fix up the games… more

We were married at the Viejo Molino almost ten years ago. It is a beautiful spot, great views and has am amazing pool! Family rooms are great. Food is okay. But the hotel could do with some investment, a lick of paint, some fixing up, a decent wifi and proper cable connection, fix up the games area..... All staff are friendly but could be a little more proactive, especially on reception. It is one of the best hotels in Coroico, but like most things in Coroico, seems to be resting on its laurels that it will get by with the tourists who come through.... -international ones who will never return and loyal national ones who don't have much choice. Coroico itself is a dirty, busy market town with an interesting central square with the same restaurants thst dyill hsve not invested in evrn putting ptoper toulets in thrir establushmenr! Coroico just happens to sit in a spectacular setting. Just the drive from La Paz is worth it on its own. But it needs some SERIOUS investment if is going to remain on Bolivia's tourist map. And that is the responsibility of the local government as much as private enterprise. Could be a beautiful place....
