“BETTER COST”

I paid around 200 pounds per 4 incredibles nights. I think that ´´veredas do rio quente´´ is between 3 and 4 stars, but the sum of services and the free cinema are a a differential. . . Unfortunately, Rio Quente city is small. anyway, if you have a car you can go to Caldas Novas city in 30 min.

It's an okay budget option for Rio Quente. We rented three apartments for our family: The pool area was nice, easy to watch the kids, easy to get drinks Short walk to Hot Park Short walk to restaurants Soccer field next to the pool was a nice diversion for the older kids The wait staff is very nice and attentive The pool area is kept clean Cons: Beds were extremely uncomfortable Two of the three apartments hadn't been cleaned, and one even had dirty dishes in the sink When requests for cleaning were made, nobody showed up for hours, and we had to call multiple times. When the American is relaxed and the Brazilians are angry, you know it's no good enough The restaurant at the pool had about 25% of the menu available. They didn't have hamburgers The billiard tables, ping pong tables, and air hockey table were all in disrepair to the point of being unusable The well located soccer field needs to be watered and seeded property The wi-fi was intermittent, and didn't work in the rooms (unfortunately a typically Brazilian feature) So all in all, I'm giving this three stars, but only because of the pool area. I did enjoy swimming laps, and spending the day drinking beer while dropping into the hot pool now and then. HOWEVER, my back is killing me from having four nights on a bed that leaned to the left on the left side.

In overal it’s a very good option to stay with your family for an affordable price. Very good location close to restaurants, mini market and the main city’s atracttion Hot Park. Private parking slot in a parking lot under the hotel. Swimming pools with sliders for children, but no supervision or life guards. Service in the hotel is not so good. People are kind but they are few and can’t give the proper attention. First room they gave us had some issues: no AC remote control, bedroom TV set has no sound, safe was not working, one of the two showers neighter. The overhead cabinet in n the kitchen won’t stay open. We’ve requested maintenance in the morning and nothing was fixed until late at night. We found dirt under the sofabed and an used panty from other guest in the bedroom’s wardrobe. In the second room we’ve found dead bugs on the floor, the safe was not working, the door to the balcony won’t lock and one of the TV sets has no remote control. No dishes are provided unless you pay extra, no pans or pots in the kitchen. Sofabed is covered in vinil, is small and hard as a rock. If you want to use the stairs at night, the lack of permanent lights may be a problem. Internet connection is slow. Despite all of that, the overall experience was nice and I would stay there again.

On the plus side, the place is well-located, within a ten minute walk to Hot Park, the main attraction in town. The pool is also good, with slides for the children. Check in was also smooth, with secure parking under the hotel. The self-serve breakfast was good. But the overall experience leaves a little to be desired. The sofa bed in our room was upholstered in vinyl, so the sheets slide right off in a second, leaving those trying to sleep there in a tangled mess within five minutes. The bedroom itself has no lamps, so it's full on light, or lights out, in the evenings. The kitchenette has a cooker and microwave, but no pots, pans, utensils or crockery. So I you came thinking you'd make meals in your room, better bring your own. Lastly, the restaurant. The menu was fixed with only around five choices (three of them beef). Steak overdone. And the service was terrible. Not rude, but just not good either. Overall, still a good option if you don't want to pay a premium to stay on the park itself, just don't expect too much.
