Upon walking into the hotel's lobby, you can feel the warmth emanating from the staff. We were warmly greeting on arrival and checked in very quickly. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but they are almost done. The room was very recently renovated...hard to tell if we were the first in it since it was renovated, but it smelled newly constructed. Very clean. Immaculate even. Brand new. There are ample electrical outlets and USB ports (A-type and C-type) to charge everything! The bath amenities are large bottles mounted on the walls. The lotion is a nice touch! I would like to see a large bottle of hand wash instead of the little bars of soap, though. Housekeeping was daily and very consistent. This is the first property I've ever stayed at that the housekeeper left a thank you note for us leaving a daily gratuity! Breakfast is the standard Hampton Inn breakfast. It's decent for what it is. Eggs, breakfast potatoes, a breakfast meat, toast station, waffle station, yogurt, fruit, etc. There is a large pool with a very large waterslide, didn't use it, but it looked nice and great for the kiddos. Ample parking and there is a lot within a short driving distance as far as stores and restaurants. If you are without a car, it may be a bit cumbersome. Location is good and easy to get to, but with Vancouver traffic, it takes about 60-75 minutes to reach city center Vancouver. Be prepared to sit in traffic. We found that if you try to avoid the morning and evening rush hours, it takes about 45 minutes. A more suburban location. Similarly to other reviewers, the only negative is the train behind the property and the train whistle. The quality of the staff and everything else more than make up for it! All in all this is a great option for visiting Vancouver. I had a great experience. This is how all hotels should be! Keep up the excellent work! Highly recommended, would definitely stay again.

“Comfortable stay”

We stayed at this location for two nights and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was also friendly. We stayed at this location for two nights and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was also friendly. My son enjoyed the pool (note they will be closing the pool from 1/4/26 to 1/26/26 for maintenance). My only reason for the 4/5 stars is the free breakfast. It was just OK. There were eggs, a meat selection, and potatoes, as well as a waffle maker and a some breads, cereals, and oatmeal. All the basics are there, but given that we have had better breakfast experiences at other hotel locations, I wanted to mention it. That being said, we'd still definitely stay again.

“Tournament Hotel”

Great place to stay if travelling for a sports tournament in the area. The breakfast room was excellent and the kids enjoyed the pool (waterslide). Despite the hotel being full of kids it was remarkably quiet at bed time.

“Pick a different place!”

Was average for the price, much nicer places out there for the value. If your on the 4th floor it randomly shakes I thought there was an earthquake but nope happens regularly. Staff is not overly friendly asked for more blankets and was told to come down and get them myself never had that in my lif… more

Was average for the price, much nicer places out there for the value. If your on the 4th floor it randomly shakes I thought there was an earthquake but nope happens regularly. Staff is not overly friendly asked for more blankets and was told to come down and get them myself never had that in my life. Ice machines don’t work, breakfast was terrible just ended up hitting the Denny’s close by no EV chargers on site, wouldn’t stay here again for the value.
