Friendly staff in all areas of this well run operation. The whole property is well kept and is an exceptional value. A fresh cooked breakfast each morning was a refreshing change from the usual microwave warmed up buffet. Just a short drive north of Bathurst, NB this is a very convenient location. It was very convenient to have a restaurant right on site for an evening meal.

I stayed at Danny’s Suites after a long day of travel and unexpected ferry delays. I stayed at Danny’s Suites after a long day of travel and unexpected ferry delays. Check-in was thankfully smooth even though it was well after hours, and the staff member on duty was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean—nothing fancy, but perfectly fine for a short stay. Breakfast was tasty and well presented, though I felt a bit sorry for the single staffer who seemed to be running the check-in desk, breakfast area, and a small restaurant all at once. She handled it impressively, but that setup doesn’t seem sustainable. The property has Tesla Destination chargers, which unfortunately didn’t work for me. Luckily, there’s a Mazda dealer right next door with a charger I could use instead. Overall, Danny’s Suites offered a decent stay with good value, but some operational improvements would make it even better.

A find of a different kind. I was travelling for business between Miramichi, Bathurst & Dalhousie. I needed a place to lay my head that was clean, had decent amenities and expense friendly. I found Danny’s through the BW website and decided to give it a chance. Not your typical “chain” motel but an old style drive up motor hotel that has grown and updated over the years. I found out it had recently changed hands and become a BW affiliated property. For my needs, quite a find. The room was really nice and updated, the click flooring was appreciated with the slushy weather. The room was warm and there was an outer corridor to mitigate the winter winds. I had a Queen with a sofa bed, not super spacious but more than adequate to my needs. The room included a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv, decent wifi and a desk to work at. The bathroom was updated, though a little tight for my 6’5 frame, but workable. There was a small “gym” for some cardio and an on site restaurant. The room was quiet and I even received a courtesy call to see if things were up to standard. The breakfast that was included was fantastic, cooked to order and served quickly and efficiently. The staff are lovely and I have already booked my next visit for when I am back in the area.
