“Wonderful Lunenburg, thanks to Smugglers Cove Inn”
A wonderful stay at Smugglers Cove Inn. Michael and Rita are outstanding hosts -- they treated us like family and Michael even gave us a walking tour of the area that was spectacular. A real community feel, thanks to them! And the room, overlooking the harbor, was a perfect vantage point.

2 nights in this delightful hotel right in the heart of historic Lunenburg. Very comfortable king room with balcony , almost silent but very effective air con . Next door to bakery which is excellent when open but does not open as it’s displayed opening times state . Which was a negative as the hot… more

“Average at best”
It was clean and close to Peggys Cove. We felt it was pricey for the accommodations. Would not choose to stay here in the future.

“Needs Improvement”
Somewhat disappointing. Room was large and reasonably well-furnished, but both the toilet and the remote for the cooling/heating unit were broken. Accommodating and helpful staff. Rooms facing the Main Street can be subject to traffic noise.

Smugglers Cove Inn is conveniently located in downtown Lunenburg NS with close access to restaurants and shops. The hotel was average. I would recommend clarifying on booking if you are in the main inn or across the street in the Concordia Inn. We were not aware that we were booked across the stree… more
