Such a charming inn! Our large room was extremely clean, very comfortable beds, good toiletries provided, extra towels and pillows in the room. Lounge area in the lobby has books and games for guests to use. A wonderful bonus to this inn was the self serve coffee and tea bar in the lobby. I really appreciated being able to make a cup of tea before bed. We’re already talking about returning to Dawson City next year and will definitely choose to stay at Aurora Inn again.

“Great place to stay”

The shuttle bus from the airport was what made us choose this hotel. It was a good choice. We were whisked to the inn and welcomed to Dawson City. The shuttle bus from the airport was what made us choose this hotel. It was a good choice. We were whisked to the inn and welcomed to Dawson City. The Aurora Inn feels like a friendly bed and breakfast although it does not serve breakfast. In the entrance hall there is a kitchen for guests to use. Free coffee was great and they had decaf. You could probably put a cold breakfast together there if you needed to but the hotel across the road (The Westmark) has a more than adequate buffet – rather a large establishment lacking the warmth of the Aurora inn. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well thought out. We were there in early September and needed the heating on, which kept the room comfortably warm. The no shoe policy is no problem with Crocs supplied or, as we did, use your own slippers.

We found Aurora Inn very clean, carpets looking fabulous due to no outside shoes policy throughout. We found Aurora Inn very clean, carpets looking fabulous due to no outside shoes policy throughout. We enjoyed the decor and access to a kitchen to create our own breakfast, the local general stores was wonderfully stocked for all needs. We visited Ddäl Ch'èl Cha Nän, Tombstone Park and would highly recommend and the Museum in Dawson.

Overall, a very good stay. The host are very friendly. Location is good and can walk to any part of downtown. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice restaurant attached (but no breakfast service). Overall, a very good stay. The host are very friendly. Location is good and can walk to any part of downtown. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice restaurant attached (but no breakfast service). One issue is the lack of Air conditioning, which is common in the area. Very hard to sleep when it is 76 degrees or more in the room. I know A/C costs, but it would be a game changer. It is absolutely needed for 3 months out of the year. I recommend this place. They do have fans. It will be hot in summer, but almost everywhere there is the same. Great service. Reasonable price. Good location. Clean.
