“Decent hotel in a sad city”
My best advice is: Don't stop in Chillán; the city is simply too sad. If you still want to make a stop in Chillán, then do it in Chillán Viejo, which is actually quite cozy. “Great hotel (renovated) for an overnight stay and get to know the city of Chillan”
Large room (a couple and two teenagers), good wifi and breakfast. Free Parking. The famous "Termas de Chillan" are located 75 east away (ideal place to stay in winter). “Dont stay herr if you have problems with stairs!”
Ok hotel but definitely NOT the place if you can't carry your suitcases up and down the stairs. The only elevator us really slow and only gets to the lobby. “Good hotel”
Pretty clean good staff. Breakfast was ok eggs and continental. Lack of any local restaurants but good local bar round corner. Car Park is secure although tight to manoeuvre round. Worth staying at as easy to find and decent place
