“Stayed for a week and was so happy I chose this hotel!”

“Excellent hotel”
Clean well appointed room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet AC. Strong hot shower with bench to sit down. Friendly staff. Not too many english TV stations, except for cctv, unless I missed it. “Unexpectedly nice”
Very nice rooms, hot shower, clean and well appointed but there was clear evidence of shortages or a misinterpretation of what a western guest might like (of course there was, well over 90% of the guests were doubtless Chinese if the breakfast room was any indication). “Old but nice”
Overnight stay, many features of the hotel look tired but staff are very friendly. Price is on the high end for a 3rd tier city like this in China. Close to the new speed train station which is nice too.

It's a gorgeous hotel BUT the staff are not trained in basic basic basic service. It's not about them speaking English as drinks and food menus are written in Chinese and English.
