“Good location - project meeting with friends”

I am happy we stayed in this hotel. We were there for almost 2 weeks for a research project, developing with our colleagues in Shenyang. It is close to them metro and offers nice browsing around. The breakfast had a lot of variety.

I recently stayed here during a school trip and the hotel is situated perfectly close (within walking distance) to eateries, attractions and shopping galore! I could not believe it! My first day started with a heavenly breakfast of Chinese and American cuisine. I had eggs, ham and fresh fruit. An assortment of cakes and rolls were also available. The housekeeping staff were courteous and professional. They bought fresh fruit to my room daily. The room was also stocked daily with toiletries and fresh house shoes. The front desk staff spoke English and Chinese and the business office was conveinent as well as a flower shop and wedding shop in the main lobby. I had a room on the 11th floor with a huge window where I looked out at a huge TV screen every night. I also opened the top window and a fresh breeze blew thru the screened window during the evening hours. The subway is located directly in front of the hotel door and a historical dumpling restaurant is across the street-it was so good we ate there several times. The Rose Hotel is a great home away from home. I can't wait to go back. The price was very reasonable for all the benefits we got. Thank you

“Right in the Middle of Everything!”

We stayed at the Rose Hotel for 9 days in November 2011 and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean and quiet and our accommodations were spacious and well-appointed, if dated. We stayed at the Rose Hotel for 9 days in November 2011 and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean and quiet and our accommodations were spacious and well-appointed, if dated. We slept well and undisturbed every night and the morning breakfast buffet of both hot and cold items was excellent. The desk and room staff were welcoming and the hotel seems to have the essentials for both tourist and business travelers. The Rose is in the heart of an upscale pedestrian shopping area with lots of night-time activity, a subway station just outside, easy access to taxi service, and fast-food (McDonald's, Starbucks, DQ, KFC, etc) and other restaurants nearby, banks, mini-malls, etc. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Imperial Summer Palace. All-in-all, we'd gladly stay here our next visit to Shenyang!

I went to trip to Shenyang with a group of people and this hotel was one of the best options. I believe when we booked it was around 200 kuai (including breakfast). The process of checking in didn't take that long but we had to wait at least 20 minutes. The rooms are good and clean (I stayed in twin bed room, one of the cheapest) and the place looked very nice. The breakfast was OKAY but it was too Chinese for my taste, I expected a little more western cuisine. The atmosphere in the lobby was great, pianist was playing in the evening, very nice. I went there in June 2014.
